Chapter 9 : FIRST MEETING

Aine and Chad were busy complaining about the day the both had there was a knock on the door, a maid came in with their lunch, both boys ate to their hearts content.
Aine decided to go out for a scroll around the palace, he wanted to be familiar with his surroundings, that was the first thing his father taught his about when you travel to a new place, Aine had only come to the palace once and that was because of princess Keera , she was the only reason his foot stepped into the palace , he walked to the stables where the horses were kept because King Fitz loved horse riding, there were about 10 stalls where the horses were kept , there was a particular horse that looked different from other horses it had blue eyes just like the sky , it mane was dark and it had a white color stain at the center of his mane
" That's Gràinne , Fitz's favorite horse " Cessy said as he walked close to Aine
" He's beautiful " Aine was captivated by his beauty,
" Strawberry roan" Aine couldn't understand what Cessy was talking about
" His color, it's really rare , he got it for his 15th birthday, the King and Queen thought it would be best if he had on and it took Fitz 4 years for him to gain Gràinne's trust"
" Amazing, he's really very special, I'm sure Fitz values his friendship" he moved closer to the horse but it took a step backwards
" Be careful he's not friendly with strangers , Fitz and Gràinne are really imseparable , he loves his lot , Fitz is just like Gràinne both are very rare, they appear strong on the outside but are very delicate "
" I'm not sure it the same Fitz I had met , the one a know is a no good two faced annoying dumbass , even when he was a child he was more irritating " the first meeting of Aine and Fitz was 10 years ago, Fitz and the King were taking a scroll around the Kingdom at that time the King wanted him to see the kingdom.
" I was just 11 when I met your Prince charming , back then when Ulster was still one, we played this game of hide and seek in the market square , I never knew he was a prince, it was raining and I needed a place to hide. I saw the King and his guards step out of the car , the only thing I wanted to do was hide so I wouldn't be caught , I never knew someone was in the car, I got in and guess what happened ? " Cessy knew it took a bad turn , he shook his head waiting for Aine to continue ,
" Your lovely Prince yelled thief and kicked me out of the car " he took off his shirt showing him a massive scar on his back ,
" you see that I got it from the fall , the entire village square taught I was a thief , I would never forget that day he is nothing but heartless man , still want to defend him ".
Cessy didn't know how to defend Fitz, he knew Fitz must have acted on impulse anyone in his situation would have done same
" I don't know what to say but you will find out who he really is when you get to Know him "
" No thanks I don't want to know his know any more of him , what I know is more than enough ". He smiled at Cessy
" how's your face ?, I haven't had the chance to ask since the day I hit you , I'm sorry. " Aine apologized
" it's not ready I know you didn't do it intentionally, so we're good " they both decided to walk back to the palace,
" How was your first day with Lady Claudette ? "
" Terrible, that old lady need help , I have to practice sitting for hours , I heard my spine cry for help and what's with her and that ruler she uses " Cessy couldn't help both laugh at Aine's frustrated he was fully aware of how lady Claudette could get
" You mean her weapon of discipline , she's a tough but to crack , you just have to follow everything she says "
" I have a feeling I may die before the week is over and today is just the first day , she even got me an assignment to learn all the culterys and how they're used , I have no ideas how to start "
" I could help you , if you would like of course "
" Yes please do I don't want her discipline tomorrow "
They both walked into the kitchen and Aine sat on the dinner table watching Cessy set the table like the way lady Claudette did earlier today, Aine didn't really see the point of this lesson food can be eaten with a spoon does the knives and fork really matter.
" so tell me what you can remember from what she told you today about these culterys " Cessiar sat in front of Aine waiting for him to speak,
" To be honest I was so hungry that I couldn't hear a word she said I only saw her lips move " Aine starched the back of his head
" You need to pay more attention to what she teaches you ".
" I know that but I feel all this is kinda pointless besi....."
'' Cessy I can't find Fitz do you have any idea where he might be ? " asked Keera without noticing Aine's presence , he turned around and saw Keera
" little one " Aine said he was more happy than he thought he would be when he gets to see Keera again
" Aine, what are you doing here ? are you now ready to visit the underworld " she asked as she hugged him.
" Not quite Yet "
" You two know each other ? " Cessy was a bit confused he didn't know Aine was the one that helped Keera
'' yes we do, we're friends and what are you doing here , why wasn't I aware of her presence ? " she turned to Cessy
" my princess like I said it's adult stuff that's why I didn't tell you about it yet " Cessy didn't want her to know about the marriage between Fitz and Aine.
" Aine can you tell me why you're here Cessy doesn't want to say anything he keeps saying adults stuff and I'm not a child " she pouted her lips
" It's not really I just came to get a few things done that's it . " Aine understand Cessy was trying not to tell Keera anything , Cessy mouthed the words " Thank you" with a smile on his face.

" I'm going to home tomorrow , my dad requested for my presence and I have no idea why " Cessy said to Fitz as he sat on the bed
" Is everything alright ? "
" I have no idea , all he said was I should come home "
" so when are you coming back home " he laid on Cessy's body
" please don't stay long and come back quickly , I miss you already " he kissed Cessy on his forehead
" I'm not even gone yet and you're already missing me, what are you going to do ? " he wrapped his arms around Fitz's neck staring into his eye
" Well I'm going to come get you myself if you don't come back on time " he kissed him again

4:59 am in the morning and Aine was still in bed but his subconscious was feeling the presence of Lady Claudette , he felt she was holding her ruler in her hands
" Still asleep at this time young man " he could hear her voice and jumped up
" No ma I'm awake , he opened his eye but no one was present in the room he only spent a day with her and now his busy hearing things he checked his time 5:00 am, he knew he could get any more sleep even if he tried he decided to get ready for lady Claudette who was either running late or set a trap for him.
After his bath he decided to get dressed in a suit and shoes he couldn't put on his tie and he left it on the bed , everything he had on was so uncomfortable to him, he walked into Chad's room to also find him up and ready for the day
" you're up early ?" asked Aine
" Yes I am I just can't wait for this grooming to be over the fact that I'm doing this with you is annoying , what am I your Nanny ? " Chad complained as he worn his tie ,
" You can do that " Aine asked referring to the tie in Chad's hand
" Yes I can it's really easy we learnt it in school " he turned to Aine whose face went sour , he now saw a lot of reasons he would have gone to school but he didn't regret the time he spent with his father, his mother left him without a warning , he didn't have any memory of her. He didn't want that to happen with his father that was why he spent most of his childhood with his father he never wanted to forget him, he wanted to gather as many memories of his father and Lord Nevin didn't object because he loved Aine so much and he wanted Aine to feel comfortable with him. Chad helped Aine with his tie and both went out to start the 2nd day of their training.
SPECIAL NOTE GRÀINNE MEANS GRACE AND AINE'S MOTHER IS DEAD SHE DIDN'T ABANDONED HIM.
