It has been three days since I found my mate, the whole pack knows about my mate being a vampire but me not being claimed yet is a sign I'll reject him, Which isn’t going to happen. They were appalled to find out Belli and Kai are mated fully by now not just marked, of course they kept the negative thoughts to themselves out of respect for the Alpha’s son and his new mate. Traditionally when a female wolf finds her mate she moves from her pack to her mate’s home, and I was expecting Kari to try to rush me home as his mate but he’s suggested moving here if it made me comfortable, I’m happy I’ve got such a considerate mate. That means he’s already willing to protect me, and we have many similar interests which is a big plus ya know, but he even offered to move here instead of me going home with him… do you know why he offered that?” I asked and she nodded but stayed silent for a while, but as we approached our school she stopped me and whispered, “he knows his ex girlfriend will be insanely jealous, so it would be easier to move here to you for the time being till dad dies… that way you might not be in danger and killed.” Then she ran ahead inside and I was a little shocked about that news but I kept walking till I got to the entrance then I lost it. In human form I ran till I was a few feet in the woods beside the school and shifter into a wolf running and howling the whole way back to the pack’s lands and stopped by the river that runs close to the pack’s town, I lay by the river still seething when I heard a branch snap behind me and I sprung up. I growled dangerously ready to kill anything and saw Axius walking toward me and sat in front of me, “you hate me probably, but I don’t care. So what pissed you off so bad you let Lucifer take complete control? At least it wasn’t me…” I relaxed and lay my head on his lap whining, wanting comfort from hearing those awful words Belli said about me dying and Kari doing it to keep me safe. Axius scratches my head for a while then I shift back to my human form, he turned away giving me his shirt that went to my thighs which covered everything thankfully. “I don’t hate you, I dislike how you acted towards me and my mate being disrespectful to us. I know you hate vampires but you have to be respectful to him as my mate.” I said as we walked toward the pack town out of the forest, “I’m sorry… but he isn’t good for you…” he looked like he was going to say more but shut his mouth thinking better of it which I was grateful for, as soon as we got to my house I saw Kari sitting on the stairs.
