ALL OVER AGAIN?

CHAPTER TEN

KYRA

Curling my fingers into a fist, I walked into the school and adjusted the cap of my hoodie and made it cover my forehead.

I rubbed my sweaty hands on my trousers and exhaled deeply.

The image of me hitting the guy with a plank flashed through my eyes.

What if I get into trouble??

Relax Kyra! Relax!!

I walked through the hallway and stood in front of the door of the class.

I sighed in despair as I pushed the door opened and walked in, sitting down on my usual seat.

Ignoring the stares from everyone which seems to be boring holes on my skin, I picked a book from my bag pack and opened it and began to read.

"Did you see the announcement on the page board". I heard someone say behind me and I tilt my head to listen.

"Yeah! I heard it's next week"! Another girl said and giggled.

"And of course, our talent show is coming up in two weeks time"! The first girl said.

I hissed.

I thought they were saying something important.

I pushed the novel I was reading back inside my backpack when I saw the teacher walked in

When the bell ran, as usual, I dashed out of the class in a hurry.

"Why does she always run out of the class like that"?

"She seems weird"!

I ignored those whispers behind me and I walked away.

I walked into the cafeteria and I bought a drink.

As I walked towards the exit, I slipped and I fell and hit my butt so hard on the tiled floor.

I heard roars of laughter behind me and I struggled to stand up.

Tears stinged my eyes as I blinked back the tears that threatened to pour.

"Ooooooh! It hurts"? I heard the mocking voice behind me.

I struggled to stand up and saw Astrid, grinning mischievously at me.

I looked down and saw pieces of banana peels on the ground.

It wasn't there when I was coming!!!

I gazed at her angrily. The urge of straggling her was so much as I clench and unclench my fingers.

"Enough Astrid"!

I turned and saw a tall slender girl walking towards us.

Her long red hair flowed behind her as she looked at me with a smile and frowned at Astrid.

"Hi May!! You look so beautiful isn't it"? Astrid asked, walking towards the girl with a faux smile on her face.

I could tell the smile wasn't geniue.

"Stay away from her"! The girl said, glaring at her and Astrid frowned.

"Why"?

"If you hurt her, you have me and Hayden to answer"! She replied and eyed her badly.

Astrid frowned and looked at me with a glare.

I turned my gaze to the ground and picked my backpack from the ground.

"Are you hurt"?

"No! I'm fine"! I muttered and without looking at her, I tried to walk away but she stood in front of me.

"Do you remember me? I'm the girl you saved from that store room yesterday"? She said and my eyes widened.

I remember her now!

My heart began to beat heavily.

Am I in trouble now?

"I just want to say thank you for helping me". She said smiling and I nodded and I tried to walk away again but she stopped me.

"Can we be friends"? She asked, as she held out her hand in front of her and I stiffened.

Friends!!!!

"No"! I replied and I walked out on her.

I was really grateful she didn't try to stop me..

I pulled out the school map from my bag and walked towards the school garden.

I gasped when I saw how beautiful it was.

It had different beautiful and dainty flowers and tress and even had a beautiful fountain.

I breath in the fresh breeze and I sat down on the grass and began to remise about my life.

My life was once cosy.

It was the life of a princess!!

I lived like a wealthy queen in a beautiful castle.

I had dreams, ambition and hope!!

But everything had to go down the drain 3 years ago.

Those horrible event will always remain fresh in my memory!!

Every night it hunts me!

Every day I ache from the pain I feel every time.

?"Mom, why will someone be jealous of you"? I asked my mom and she smiled at me, still brushing my long brown hair.

"Well baby, because you have what they don't have and they want to get it from you"! She said and I furrowed my brows.

"What should you do"? I asked her and she ruffled my hair.

"You can't do anything baby. No matter what you do, they will still envy you. So, leave them for Karma to handle"!!!?

Tears flowed down my cheeks as I cried.

Oh momma!!!

I sighted a beautiful white rose and I walked over to admire it.

That was my mom's favorite flower.

Oh how she loved white rose!

She once told me that when she sees the white roses, it represents peace and purity and love!!!!

I heard footsteps behind me and I turned to look.

I gasped when I saw three guys in front of me and they stared at me angrily.

"What do you want"? I growled, but inside, panic rose.

Oh God!! Please don't let me have anxiety attacks here!!!

"She was the one who injured Adam"! One of the guy whispered to the guy in front and I gasped.

The guy in the store room!!

Are these his friends??

If they are, I'm doomed.

I quietly reached for the dagger in my pocket, cluching it tightly.

"So, you are the girl who almost killed my friend right"? He asked and I stood, stunned.

"Gosh, you always have a habit of not minding your business! The same you still had to barge in when I was enjoying myself with Blanka. Isn't it"? He said, a dangerous smirk playing on his lips.

I widened my eyes in shock!

It was true!

I remember him now!!!

"If you had just minded your business, you wouldn't get into the trouble you've already fallen into now"!

He smiled and I felt a chill run through my spine as my blood run cold.

He began to walk towards me and I began to move back.

Rapid tears fell from my eyes.

Is the past happening all over again???
