Alexandria POV
I moaned in pain and slowly opened my eyes. The first thing I saw was sparkling diamond-like objects shining brightly. After blinking a few times, my eyes adjusted to the light. I looked around and realized that these diamond things were everywhere. Nearby, Aria was swearing angrily, standing on her feet and looking around.
Aria shouted, "What is this place?" Her voice echoed in the unfamiliar area.
I rubbed my eyes and then gasped. "Weren't we just in the tunnel? What happened? And what are these diamond things?" I looked around, hoping to find something familiar or resembling the tunnel we had escaped from, but everything was strange.
"Aria!" I shouted, and she did the same, calling for Raziel and Kylan.
