I woke up with a gasp, blinking my eyes open after what felt like an endless sleep. My vision was blurry for a few moments until I adjusted to the light around me. "Where am I?" I whispered, looking around the room. I was alone, surrounded by candles casting a soft glow. I wondered about the room's purpose and how I ended up here.
My last memory was of Taizel's attack when he poured a mixture of letiti and Venom on my eyes which left me blind. I rubbed my forehead, confused about how I could suddenly see. "How is this possible?" I muttered, trying to figure out if magic was involved.
