When he called me Alexa and hugged me, I thought he had figured out that I was the one. As our chests connected, I could feel my heart beating as fast as a drum. I was about to say something to him when I heard a throat clearing beside us. When I turned, my eyes widened as I saw something I never expected to see.
The previous Luna Queen was holding my children's hands as they made their way towards Raziel's office. I was stunned to see her holding the children she had vowed to hate.
