Oh no.
That was my first thought when I realized what my brain was doing.
With him on top of me like this, almost like he was pleading, he looked quite… cute.
He didn’t look like the man who would remove my fingernails one by one and leave me bleeding out in the cold. He appeared like my dream man, staring at me with those wide, searching eyes, stripped of disdain and cruelty.
Cute.
I snapped back into myself before I could spiral further.
Nope.
Absolutely not.
All of this was happening because he ingested the drug. None of this was real. Before I could second-guess myself again, I shoved the pill into his mouth and clamped my hand over it, pressing his jaw shut.
“Swallow,” I ordered.
He glared at me, but his throat bobbed a second later.
