Love So Far

Surprising Night

Suddenly, my phone rang. "I’ll be back," I said and went out. When I checked the phone, it displayed the caller name as "Mom". I talked with her for some time. When I disconnected the call, someone closed my eyes and I knew it would be none other than Krish.

"Krish," I called out his name.

"How did you found out that it was me?" he was surprised.

"Because only two people can do such silly things with me, one is Neil and another is you." I teased him.

"So, my princess, Had your breakfast?" he hugged me from the back.

"Yeah, you?"

"Yeah."

After some time, all my friends and Krish's friends came to Monica's place. We chatted for a while and then started to do study. Neil and I planned to complete first because it was a complicated subject for us. Krish was doing an individual study; if his friends had had doubt then he would clear their doubts. Neil and I wrote all the answers we studied, which we always do; and sometimes he would cheat by seeing the answers and writing them but he would be caught. Therefore, I always ask him question after writing them in the note and when I cheat, he does the same. We studied for at least 2 hours, after that we got tired and bored. I, Monica and some other girls who were also there went to the kitchen to bring some snacks. We bought soft drinks, some chips, cakes (which were already there in her house) and a water bottle. I sat near Krish and talked with him, later bent my head on his shoulder. He took my hand and pressed it gently.

"Looshin" He called me.

"Ya, Krish" I closed my eyes.

"I want to say you something."

"Yes, say."

"Na, not now, I'll say you later." He said and kept his head upon mine.

"Hmm..." I hummed sheepishly.

I almost slept on his shoulder. When I opened my eyes, I saw him lying on the other sofa. I went towards him and watched him sleep. I sat down next to him and started to admire him while he was sleeping. His long nose was located perfectly in his face; the tiny light mole on the middle of his nose increased his beauty to the highest. His magnetic eyes could easily attract everyone's gaze. I'd always wondered why people in relationships did that – why they just stare at their loved one who wasn't even doing anything. But now I understood it was one of the ways to admire them when they are cute.

I stayed there for while staring at him as I caressed his hair, kissed on his forehead and went to join with my friends, who were standing out in the swimming pool area.

I saw Vicky was bickering with Nikithaa and Suhana for some unknown reason. They were so much into their bickering that they didn't notice me coming towards them. Suddenly I had a thought of having some fun, so pushed all of them into the pool.

"You b***h," Vicky yelled.

"Hello to you too." I laughed.

"Looshin, you'll pay for this." Suhana too yelled.

"Let's see," I smirked.

Suddenly, some pushed me from the back and I fell into the pool. When I looked back it was Monica, who was standing with Neil.

"Karma is a b***h, honey." Neil laughed as he laughed. Then he took Monica his arm and jumped into the pool. Soon we all were in the pool except for Krish. He was sitting in the chair looking at me.

"Looshin, I think Krish is looking at you." Nikithaa murmured in my ears while I was splashing water on Neil. Immediately I looked at him and raised my eyebrow to him. He smiled and shook his head. I called him to join with us, but instead, he called me to come out of the pool. When I got out of the pool, he took a towel and wrapped it around me. I looked at him and leaned on his shoulder. 

"Hey, when did you wake up," I asked him as he dried my hair.

"Not before you were pushed, Monica and Neil. Here, go and change yourself." He said as he gave me the towel.

After we got dressed up, we had some snacks and began to study. Moreover, for dinner, we ordered double cheese burst pizzas from Dominos.

The next three days, we spent on studying and taking rest for a few minutes. It was the last day in Monica's place for group study, and as usual, we were studying sincerely. Neil and I were sitting in the stair and were seeing Mathematics. Neil had almost finished seeing it, but I doubted it. Therefore, I asked him to teach me, and he too agreed to teach me.

"God, Looshin you are confusing me, now." he became mad at me.

"Hey, what am I doing? I'm clearing my doubt and you have to clear my doubt." I pouted.

"Ok, wait. Let us start first." He said and this time my doubts were cleared.

It was 7'O clock in the evening; we were playing truth and dare, for a while and began to study. Krish called me to sit with him while studying and I agreed. We sat in the swimming pool area. It was so dark that we could merely see any words in our texts.

"Krish, do you want to sit in this place?" I asked him suspiciously.

"Why? Do you have any problem?" he raised an eyebrow.

"To be frank, could you see any words from the texts?" I looked at the book.

He smiled.

"Krish, have you lost it?" I became frustrated.

"Ssshhh!" he kept his finger on my lips "Do you remember that I had told you that I want to say something to you?"

I widened my eyes and nodded.

He smiled and looked up in the sky. As he looked up, there was a sudden rise of the paper lanterns. "Do you know what makes these lanterns are flying?" he smiled.

"W...Wh...What?" my voice trembled in surprise.

"It's the fire in those lanterns which creates hot air makes them fly, similarly the love which you give me, makes me survive in this world."

I had no words for him; he always surprised me, with his love. Nevertheless, I didn't do anything for him. "Krish?" I called him while I was admiring those lanterns, "How much do you love me?"

"More than any boy could love his girl." He saw me and took my hand.

My eyes were filled with joyful tears.

"Hey, what happened? Why are you crying?" he wiped my tears.

"I'm not crying, Krish. They are tears of love." I smiled.

Then he asked me to close my eyes for a minute, and I did as he said. After some time, he said to me to open my eyes. When I opened my eyes, he was holding a box.

"Krish, what's this?" I asked him.

"It's for you, my princess." He opened the box and there was a buddha lava rock's couple bracelet which he already has wore one on his hand.

"Oh My God. it's so beautiful, but what's the need for it? "

"Didn't you like my gift?" his face saddened.

"No, I didn't mean like that Krish." I held his hand. "What I mean is; what is the need of this?."

"Looshin, you are my girlfriend. And there should be no reason to gift anything" He looked at me.

"but."

"No buts. You should take it. That's it" he said sternly.

"Ok. But it should be the last."

"Whatever." he rolled his eyes

Then he smiled and leaned on my shoulder. That night was the most romantic night of my life. He said me that we both will the same college and as soon as, we complete our college we will get married and will live happily ever. That movement I saw the excitement in his faces and realized how badly he wanted me.

The time fled like swings that even our board exams were nearing us. We had already started our third revision by that time and became ready to give our board exams.
