Let's break up...

It's been almost a couple of weeks since, I came to London and the first few days were spent happily with mom, dad, Rags, Aliya, Grandpa and Grandma; but still I had a feeling of being lonely and missing someone. Seriously, I hate to admit that I was missing him. And yeah, I know you would be thinking, that I'm over-reacting when I know that I can't stay angry with him for a long time. And all of sudden, I thought of that person, who would be there for me all the time, without wasting time, I searched for my phone and dialled the number on the screen. "Hello" a groggy voice answered the call on the ring. "Neil" I tried to sound excited. "Looshin?" "Guess, what? I'm in London" "What?" I could see the shock through his voice. "Yes. And now come to Starbucks, within 15 minutes." I ordered him and ended the call before he could reply; I got up and rushed into Rags' room which was adjunct to mine. "Rags; Rags" I jumped on her bed making her wake up with a sudden jerk. "Good Morning, " I showed my million-dollar smile. "Dare to explain for this, Looshin" she glared at me. "I need your car," I said nonchalantly. "What?" she was wide awake then. "I need your car." "But, why?" "Going to meet, Neil." "Oh!" She grinned ear to ear. "Argh! " I rolled my eyes, "He's my bestie and I guess you know that the whole family knows that. So pleaseeee.... will you stop making stupid thoughts in your so-called idiotic mind." "Okay! Okay!" she chuckled, "It's hanging in the key palate over there." She pointed to a light blue heart-shaped key palate. "Thank you." I greeted the w**********l of my age for the third time, who had been serving coffee from morning. It's been half an hour since I arrived and still, there was no sign of that stupid. "Hi!" I heard a familiar voice. "Bye!" I said and got up from the chair to leave. "Sorry! Sorry!" He apologized, "I was stuck in traffic.” "Like seriously, Neil!" I crossed my chest, "No one can find such a lame excuse like you. In which part of London, could you be stuck in traffic that too on Sunday morning?" "huh... That... That.." he scratched his hand on his back of his neck. "You know one thing Neil; nothing can be done with you." I walk across him and rushed out of the cafe. "Looshin!" he came running behind me, "Loo, Listen I'm sorry." I was about to open the car's door, but Neil stopped me and turned me to face him. "Loo, I'm sorry." But I didn't respond to him. "Looshin." No, respond. "Loo." He pleaded. Still no response. "Okay, fine!" he stomped his foot, "I'll not let you go unless you talk to me." He took the key from my hand. "Nei... Neil, give me the key." I tried to get the key from him. "Then talk to me." He raised his hand above his head level, so I could not reach his hand. "No." "Then, you won't get your keys." "Neil, I said you to give me the key." He didn't respond. "Neil." Still no response. I tried to jump and grab the key from his hand but failed because of his tall figure. For one last time, I jumped and ended in falling and hurting my ankle. "Ouch!" I winced in pain. "Loo" He bent down, "What happened?" "My ankle, my ankle." I cried, "It's sprained." "Let me see." He placed the key and took my leg to examine. I slowly took the key and pushed him away. "You lose; Mr Buddhu." I stuck my tongue out on him. "You bitch." He began to chase me, around the car. The passersby were looking at us with weird expressions. After some times, we became tired. "I... missed you..." Neil panted heavily and hugged me. "Missed... you... too... Buddhu." I hugged him back. "So, how are things going between you and Monica?" I asked as we were having breakfast in Starbucks. "Good," he said in a monotonous tone. "Neil?" I held his hand, "Is everything okay? I mean between you and Monica?" "Yeah." He smiled, which didn't reach his eyes. "Neil?" I protested guessing something is wrong. He let a heavy sigh, "I don't know, Loo. I seriously don't know what to do? It's like we're breaking apart. And I feel like we're not mean together." "Care to explain, what made you think like this?" "It's almost been 6 months since we have talked properly. Sometimes, she is busy with her works and sometimes, I'm busy with mine." "Neil, it happens in relationships. Only we've to face all the problems with courage. Remember, you can't get anything without struggling and you need the patience to come across the struggles." I squeezed his hand for assuring him that I'm there with him and everything will be alright. He nodded with a smile, "Then, how are things going between you guys?" "Good." I lied. "Loo, do I ever tell you that you're such a bad liar." He chuckled, and then suddenly, his face turned serious, "I've noticed some changes in Krish since he came back to London. He started to drink a lot since he came back." "What?" the news of Krish drinking bewildered me, "Krish drinks?" "Yeah." He nodded, "Since he returned from Lexington. Is everything okay, between you guys?" "That's what happened" I narrated the whole story to him, whatever happened in Lexington. He remained silent after listening to me. "I don't know what to do, Neil?" "Look, I know whatever he has done is unbearable but you can't be angry at him when he is regretting his mistake." He took a sip from his coffee, "you know Loo, he had changed a lot since the last week. I had an instinct that something is wrong between you guys and it came out to be true." "What shall I do, Neil?" I blinked the tears that were forming in my eyes. "Sheesh! Loo stop being an emotional fool." He scrunched his forehead, "Now be a good girl and go to him. He's so depressed." "But I don't know where he is?" "There." He pointed across me to the car, across the road. There was a figure sitting in the driver seat. "Yeah, he is there in the car. Go and talk to him." I turned towards him, "Now, go." He grinned. I nodded and without wasting any second, I rushed out of the cafe towards the car. Just then, a tall figure stepped out of the car. His back was facing me. "Krish." I panted heavily. He turned around and was startled. His eyes were bloodshot red, which said about his lack of sleep. The 5'O' Clock stubble on his cheeks and his messy hair had made it obvious that he was depressed, but still, it made him look hot and handsome than before. "Looshin..." I smacked my lips with him before he could say anything. We kissed like there was no tomorrow for us. Initially, our kiss was of hunger but later turned into a passionate one. Suddenly, Krish broke the kiss and maintained space between us. "Krish." "Looshin, I want to say something." He interrupted me. "Before that...." "No" Once again he interrupted me. "Hmmm." I nodded. "Come with me." He took me to the nearby restaurant, which is adjunct to Starbucks. There was an awkward silence between us. "Here's your Cappuccino and black coffee." The waitress placed our order, with a genuine smile "Thank you." He replied with a smile as she left. "Looshin, I'm sorry." "It's okay." I held his hand, which was on the table. "Looshin, let me complete." He said impatiently. I flinched at this attitude of him and nodded. "I'm sorry." He took back his hand from mine and covered his face with his both hands. "I'm sorry. I... I don't.... don't think this will work out between us. You can't be happy with me." "Wha... What do you mean, Krish?" my heartbeat stopped and inside I prayed that he should be kidding or it should be a bad dream in my sleep. "Let's...." He took a deep breath," Let's break up." "No." I shook my head. "No, you can't do this." Tears rolled down on my cheeks. "I'm sorry, Loo." His voice was painful and his eyes showed hurt in them, "I have no other go, other than this. I have to do this." "No... No... No...." I begged him, "Please, don't do this to me. Please, don't leave me." "I'm sorry loo." He came and sat near me and cupped my cheeks. "I know it'll hurt you, but if you'll be with me it will hurt you more." "What made you think like that? How can you think of leaving me, when you've promised that you'll never leave me?" I grabbed his shirt neck. "I'm sorry, my love." He kissed me for one last time and left the place, leaving me all alone and depressed. Let's break up his words were running on my mind. I felt like the whole body was paralyzed.
