After the Transporters commander determined that the plan to draw the attention of most of the Muslim military into the city’s to eastern section, the Transporter settled to the ground to confront the Muslim masses.
The plan was not to kill or injure any of the population. The weapons that the Rangers were using shot tranquilizers and when fired into a crowd of Muslims, one shot would temporarily tranquilize and render them useless. The Muslims fired volleys of bullets against the Rangers until the Rangers took countered measures. When the Muslims realized that their attack was futile they began to retreat. The Rangers did not pursue these Muslims and left them to their confusion.
