She shook her head, she didn't want to worry him. He knew his family was a touchy subject.
"You're my wife, you can trust me Polly" he placed his forehead on hers and whispered: "he needed you to trust, he needed... to know what's wrong with you.”
She nodded her head and kissed him, it was a tender kiss where she asked for comfort and he gave it to her.
"It's my family" she told him pulling away and resting her head on his chest.
Nathaniel's arms wrapped around her trying to give her strength.
"Jason told me that my father has been sick, apparently he is somewhat remorseful for what happened when I left home and Jason thinks it would be good for us to talk as a family about what happened." She took a breath as her body shook from sobbing.
