Elizabeth POV
“Took you two long enough,” Lucas said to Xander and Izaiah.
Izaiah and Xander both took a chair beside me. The tension they had between them was gone. I looked at Xander confused. He softly placed his hand on my thigh. I took his hand, squeezing it tightly.
When I glanced at Izaiah, I was surprised he wasn’t mad. He still seemed at peace, just like before. I grabbed his hand, the same tingling sensation as before emerged. A small blush formed on my cheeks when I saw Aurora smiling at me. Maybe this is how it should be. I don’t want to lose Xander. But I do want to give Izaiah a chance. Or is this the mate bond speaking?
