The following days felt freeing. Izaiah told me I could live wherever I wanted. He wouldn’t keep me as his prisoner anymore. He kept apologizing for everything he did.
After Aurora let her aura wash over him, he seemed like a different man. He didn’t look like the mess he was when we met. He cleaned himself up, he looked very handsome. Full lips and a strong jawline. The mate bond pushing me increasingly towards him. But I still couldn’t forgive him. I needed time to give everything a place in my mind and heart.
