Chapter 02 - My Worst Nightmare

"I told you, that was not the end. This is just the beginning. WELCOME TO MY LIFE!"   

I was struck where I stand, I will regret my answer because of what he whispered. He now faced our parents placing his hand on my waist. This Big bad demon! He is using this situation for his benefit. The benefit of ruining my life forever and he really loves it. How dare he!

Aunt Sia comes close to me and holds my hand.  

"Oh, sweetie! I'd love the fact that you will be my daughter soon. I am so happy for both of you!" She said while still holding my hand.

"Thanks, Aunt Sia!" I speak

"I thought it would take ages before he had the guts to ask you. hahaha!"  Uncle Eli said as he was walking toward us. and hug me and then his son.

"I'm so proud of you son." 

"Thanks, Dad!"

Then I saw dad, mom, and Ian walking to him.

"Yo bro! Welcome to the family! You can now bully Maia forever! HAHAHA!" Who do you think said that? No other than my brother Ian! Really? Is he really my brother?!

I stared at him like I was going to kill him on the spot!

"Woah! Chill Lil sis. Be happy you just got engaged with your prince charming. hahaha!" He spoke.

"I am happy for you both. Welcome to the family Isaiah!" my mom said to Isaiah.

"Thanks, Aunt Aiah!" Isaiah answered to mom with glee.

"Welcome to the family son." dad said to the monster.

"Thanks, Uncle Seh!" Isaiah answered to dad.  

Then he looks at me grinning. Oh, God! He really planned this! I can see through his eyes that he is laughing at the back of his mind. Then I had the guts to speak.

"Isaiah can we now talk privately?" 

"Sure love! Excuse us for a while."

After he said that I pull him outside the resto, and we are now walking to the shore where he found me earlier.

"ISAIAH KING WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT! ARE YOU STILL NOT CONTENTED RUINING MY HIGH SCHOOL AND NOW MY WHOLE LIFE?!! I spat at him.

"HAHA! What if I said yes? What will you do?" 

Silence.

"This was all planned even this vacation trip. This was my idea! And I know that you can't say no when your father is around."

I knew it! IT WAS ALL PLANNED!

I was about to punch him in the face then I stop it with his hands grasping my hand. Pulling me closer to him. 

"Didn't you like it? You will be the wife of the great Isaiah King of King Industries?" with a serious tone.

How dare he?! I don't like the fact that I will be tied forever to this monster! 

"Over my dead body!" I spat. 

"Feisty, aren't we? Oh, how I miss those expressions. It is really entertaining."  I was about to speak with I felt his lips to mine. My eyes were open wide in shock! OH MY GOD! MY FIRST KISS! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Why did I give it to this monster! Literally, I was trembling thinking of the fact that someone had taken my first kiss without my permission and the worst I lose it to this monster!

And finally, let go of his grip and I fell on the sand kneeling, still trembling in shock.

"I am definitely your worst nightmare. Forever!" He said looking down at me and walks towards the restaurant.

I was left behind, I felt water fall to my cheek. I am crying. Is it because I had lost my first kiss to someone I don't love and be engaged to the man who loves to see my wrecked or because I can't choose what I really love? That pleasing the people around me must be prioritized. Lord? Why is this happening to me? What did I do that you are teaching me this kind of lesson?

I wipe my tears and decided to stand and walk to the water. I need to relax. I need to calm my senses. I walk and walk until the sea level was now on my chest and let myself float to the sea. The sea was so calm like it felt that I need to calm down. Its waves splashing towards my skin gently like it was massaging my body. I wish time to stop and be stuck in this. Nothing to worry about, nothing too pleased, and no rich kid demon who will bother me.

I stayed out for 3 hours and decided to go back to the villa where my family is currently staying. I was now in front of the villa when Ian come at me. 

"There you are! Where have you been? Everyone is looking for you! Mom and dad are so worried about you. Wait why are you like that. Are you trying to catch a cold?!" He exclaimed.

"Ian, could you excuse me, I am going to my room. I am not in the mood. I am sorry!"

Without saying any word. I walk past him and walk straight to the bathroom at my room and took a shower. As the water fell on my skin my tears also fell from my eyes. I was screaming at the back of my mind. 

I finished taking a shower and put my robe on and lay down on my bed. I was so exhausted, physically, emotionally, and mentally. Staring the ceiling blankly until I blacked out.

"I am definitely your worst nightmare!"

I open my eyes as wide as I can. What the heck! Even in my dreams that demon had invaded. Then a sharp pain struck my head. Oh, my head really hurts! My hand was on my head hoping that I could relieve the pain however it had not.

Knock. knock. knock.

"Come in!" 

The door was open, and the head of my brother Ian popped in. 

"Breakfast is ready! Hey, why aren't you ready ye-."

"I had a headache. I cannot come to the tour. You go with mom and dad." I batted in before he could finish talking.

"Ok, I'll inform the information desk to bring you some breakfast here and some medicine." He said.

"Thanks!"

He closed the door and I go back to bed. I was staring at the ceiling again blankly then I lifted my left hand trying to reach it and pain had struck my heart when I saw the symbol that I will be tied in a few months or a year to a monster for a lifetime. I whined in pain until I fell into a deep sleep. 

"Maiei!"

"Maiei!"  

"Maiei! Wake up!"  

"Uhmm.." I replied.

"You need to eat your breakfast!"

I open my eyes when I recognized whose voice is that.

"What are you doing here! You demon!" I exclaimed.

"That hurts you know. Calling your fiance a 'demon'?" he replied with action pretending that he was hurt really badly. Tsk. 

"Please leave. I need some rest. It means away from you!"

"Aren't you happy that I was the one taking care of you? Your parents and Ian are on a tour together with my parents, we are alone in this huge villa, which means we can do everything we want." He says while he is wiggling his eyebrows up and down and has a grin on his face. p*****t! This is a rich kid demon perverted monster! How did dad like him? With that kind of attitude! I did not notice that he came close to me a few inches away from me actually like he was going to kiss me. I automatically closed my eyes and wait for his lips to touch mine. However, it never happened. Instead, I heard clicks from his phone and when I open my eyes, he was taking pictures of me. What the-!

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! If you could only see your face! It was exquisite! Are you expecting me to kiss you? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA you are priceless!" He spat.

I was about to speak when I felt a sharp pain in my head. I closed my eyes to ease the pain however it didn't. I can't take it anymore. I can still hear him laughing but I do not care. I need to ease the pain I am feeling right now. I run toward the bathroom and turn the shower on. I felt the cold-water touch all over my body. It makes me shiver. Even though I'm still wearing my robe. It was still giving me chills. I look at the door behind me and saw him looking at me without any emotion to express. Then I realize how he witnessed my miserable state. I am sure he is enjoying it. Ignoring the chills I stood bravely walk past him and went to the door and open it.

"You may leave now. I had enough today. Please leave." I ask him sincerely.

He didn't say anything and walk to the door but before he passed me, he stops and faced me. And then I realized I was not touching the floor anymore. I was lifted. I was carried by the demon back to my bed which makes it wet because I was still wearing the same robe that I was wearing when I took the cold shower. I was about to get up when he pinned me down again and right now, he was so close to me. So close that I can already feel his breathing.

"Say Maiei, you look so hot, do you mind if we go to the next level?" He whispers to me with a smirk.

I cannot think straight! I was too struck by those words coming from his mouth! Nooooooooooooo! I do not want it! I already lost my first kiss to you and now my purity! How dare he! I hope this is only a dream that I could wake up from. I wish it were, but it is not.
