Jamy Call : love sucks
Chapter 1
Jamy Call walked down the long winding driveway to her uncle's mansion. She had been living with her uncle for the past six months since her parents had passed away in a car accident. Her uncle was a wealthy businessman who had taken her in and given her a comfortable life. However, Jamy knew that her uncle could be a little toxic and controlling at times.
As she reached the front door, Jamy let out a deep breath and rang the doorbell. Her uncle's butler, James, opened the door and greeted her with a warm smile.
"Good evening, Miss Jamy. Your uncle is waiting for you in the study," James said.
Jamy nodded and made her way to the study. As she entered the room, she saw her uncle sitting at his desk, surrounded by piles of paperwork.
"Good evening, Uncle John," Jamy said as she sat down in the chair opposite him.
"Good evening, Jamy. How was your day?" her uncle asked.
"It was fine, thank you," Jamy replied.
Her uncle looked at her intently for a moment before speaking again. "Jamy, I've been thinking about your future. I know you're still young, but it's important to plan ahead."
Jamy knew where this was going. Her uncle had always been very focused on her education and career, and she knew that he had very specific ideas about what she should do with her life.
"I've been speaking with some of my colleagues, and I believe that you would be an excellent fit for an internship at one of the top law firms in the city," her uncle continued.
Jamy felt a knot form in her stomach. She had always been interested in writing and journalism, but her uncle seemed to have other plans for her.
"Uncle John, I appreciate your concern, but I don't think law is the right path for me," Jamy said.
Her uncle's face hardened. "Jamy, I know what's best for you. You need to think about your future and your career. You can't just waste your time on frivolous pursuits."
Jamy felt a wave of frustration wash over her. She knew that her uncle meant well, but she couldn't help feeling like he was trying to control her life.
"I understand that, Uncle John, but I think it's important for me to pursue my passions," Jamy said firmly.
Her uncle sighed and leaned back in his chair. "Very well, Jamy. But remember, I only want what's best for you."
Jamy nodded and stood up to leave. As she walked out of the study, she couldn't help feeling like she was trapped in a life that wasn't her own.
Chapter 2
The next day, Jamy decided to take a walk in the park to clear her head. As she strolled along the winding paths, she saw a group of boys playing soccer on the grassy field. She stopped to watch for a moment and noticed one boy in particular. He had messy brown hair and a mischievous grin, and he moved with a fluid grace that caught her eye.
Jamy felt a strange flutter in her stomach as she watched him play. She had never been interested in boys before, but there was something about this one that intrigued her.
As the game ended, the boy walked over to where Jamy was standing. "Hey, you're new around hereChapter 3
Jamy was taken aback when the boy spoke to her. She hadn't expected him to notice her, let alone strike up a conversation.
"Uh, yeah. I'm Jamy," she said, feeling a bit awkward.
"I'm Lucas," the boy replied, flashing her a smile.
Jamy couldn't help but smile back. There was something about Lucas that made her feel at ease.
"Nice to meet you," she said.
They chatted for a few minutes, and Jamy found herself enjoying the conversation more than she had expected. Lucas was funny and charming, and he seemed genuinely interested in getting to know her.
As they said goodbye and went their separate ways, Jamy couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She had never felt this way about a boy before, and she couldn't wait to see him again.
Chapter 4
Over the next few weeks, Jamy and Lucas continued to run into each other in the park. They would chat and laugh, and Jamy found herself looking forward to their meetings more and more.
One day, Lucas invited Jamy to come with him to his family's farm. Jamy hesitated at first, knowing that her uncle would disapprove of her spending time with a boy from a lower social class. But she couldn't resist the allure of spending more time with Lucas, so she agreed to go.
As they drove out to the farm, Jamy couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She had never been to a farm before, and she was eager to see what it was like.
When they arrived, Jamy was struck by the peacefulness of the place. The farm was surrounded by rolling hills and fields of wheat, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of hay.
Lucas introduced Jamy to his parents, who welcomed her warmly. They showed her around the farm, introducing her to the animals and explaining how they ran their operation.
Jamy couldn't help but feel a sense of envy as she watched Lucas interact with his family. They were so close and loving, and it was clear that they had a deep bond.
As the day wore on, Jamy and Lucas found themselves alone in a secluded field. They lay down in the grass, gazing up at the sky as the sun began to set.
"This is amazing," Jamy said, feeling a sense of peace that she hadn't felt in a long time.
"I'm glad you like it," Lucas said, turning to look at her. "You know, Jamy, I really like spending time with you."
Jamy felt her heart skip a beat. "I like spending time with you too, Lucas."
They leaned in to kiss, and Jamy felt a rush of excitement. She had never felt this way before, and she knew that she was falling for Lucas.
Chapter 5
Jamy couldn't stop thinking about Lucas after their day on the farm. She found herself daydreaming about him in class, imagining what it would be like to be with him all the time.
But the reality of their situation soon hit her. She knew that her uncle would never approve of her relationship with Lucas, and she couldn't help but feel guilty about keeping it a secret.
One day, as Jamy was walking home from school, she saw her uncle's car parked outside a nearby coffee shop. Curiosity getting the better of her, she decided to go in.
