Show Girl Power-The Rebirth Heroine Writing Contest

Entered Stary writing academy III contest

Far from the human's settlement, out of anyone's reach, surrounded by very thick trees of the Arians forests from all its panes is a very beautiful Japanese-like gothic edifice with tatami flooring, sliding doors, and wooden verandas circling the building.

A building which dates more than five hundred years back but later seized and now owned by Mrs Alberta Halls for about a hundred and fifty years, now!. She created a school known as "Perverted Academy".

A perfect place for a vacation, free from human pollution and also protected by some magical spell.

The school is a complete secret to all humans.

...........................

My life changed when I met Mrs Albert Hall, a principal to a magical school found out of the human world in which I grew up.

A school with no rules where terrorist reigns and the most powerful wins.

I had no idea of who I was, but she helped me discover my true self and my magical powers which I will use to save the world from Darkness and a coming of ages...

Turning 18yrs old is a dream for some adults, but to her, it was a creepy nightmare. Just then she could hear the rumble of her name, which gave her shock waves down her spine. It isn't like living there was the best, yet that was all she had ever known and had. It was her home, after all, and after spending about 17yrs of her life there, she feared what awaits her in the outside world. She had been gazing at the door since she heard her name, lost in thoughts, she immediately twitched out of her deepest thoughts when she heard the noise from the knob of Miss Helen‘s door, she immediately came back to reality as the door opened, with her tragic glance fixed on it like the gates of hell had broken loose. She knew it was her turn because she was the only person perched out waiting for Miss Helena to attend to her. Miss Helena's office door eventually opened. “Nadia, I called you like 3minutes ago, and here you are standing and gazing at the door. Please, step in!” her voice hit the young Nadia as an arduous blow on her face, she would have loved to escape from the torture. With a heavy release of oxygen as if it were her last, Nadia sighed, face down and walked into the office. The old woman gave her a gentle squeeze on the shoulder as she entered. But that squeeze couldn't lessen the weight Nadia was carrying. Helen was a kind woman and a reverent sister; she was the mother superior to all the sisters working in the orphanage and she has been running the Saint Maria orphanage since before Nadia arrived. Nadia’s dismal gazes followed the woman as she took her seat behind her desk with her glasses swinging left, right like a swinging clock. Nadia couldn't help but discretely pip at her drowsy appearance, she looked like an old woman in her 70s coupled with her white robe that swept the floor and headscarf giving her … appearance, meanwhile she was just in her early 50s. Just then, Helen's voice interrupted her. “As you know, Nadia, you have to leave the orphanage in just a week!” her words completely changed young Nadia's countenance to that of an apathetic one. All her memories came rushing back and crashed. She could still recall vividly when Mrs Helena called her ten months ago to announce the same painful news, now it's just a week left. She couldn't stop asking herself why time will so unkind to her, just then Helen asked: “How is your search for a job and apartment going? have you found anything yet?” “No!” Nadia nodded with her shoulder heavily slumped “no one wants to give a chance to a young girl with no work history regardless of my situation and worst because of my situation. I'm an orphan with no family so no one dares trust me!” she whimpered, even the petit jobs I applied for, the bosses kept me waiting for 3 hours and after that, they just lock their door and exit. “Oh!” the old woman's eyes slumped as she leaned back on her chair confused “so what are you going to do now? You know the orphanage has rules and I can't keep you here even if I wanted to.” “Yes! I know!” Nadia lowered her head in agony, she didn't want to show how pitiful she was to the old woman because it was useless since she had no authority to change the rules for her. She knew that this was only going to cause more pain to the old woman who had done nothing but always done her best to protect her since the day that she was brought to the orphanage, but this time around there was nothing else Sis Helen could do apart from letting her go into the streets to fend for herself since she had become of age. . . Nadia was three yrs old when Miss Helena found her in the forest on her way back to the orphanage after her midnight gallops which she always organised once a week. On her way, she saw something which looked like a baby, but then there was no cry and the white from afar looked like toilet paper, but out of curiosity, she got closer to get a better view. Behold she saw a baby all wrapped in a worn-out white dirty cloth bleeding laying there in a pool of blood, the baby's skin turning dark, with her veins popping out greening, this was beyond the freezing point. She picked the baby who could barely breathe up in her arms and rushed to her car to get some cloth to warm the baby up, while doing so, she rapidly put on her clothes as she changed back into her human form. She rushes the baby to the orphanage to give her some first aid. While cleaning the baby up, she found out that it was a girl, she noticed two tinny fresh holes on her neck like that of a vampire’s bite but she easily couldn't tell since obscure creatures were believed to be in extinction after the great m******e of obscure creatures which happened many years back organised by the government. So for all those years, Miss Helena had always believed to be the only obscure creature alive. However, she kept the young girl's presence condition a secret from the orphanage authorities because she knew that the baby girl wasn't going to last up to two hours as she was convinced she had been bitten by a vampire. So surviving was out of the question. Just then, the poor little girl gave up her last breath in the old woman's presence and it made her shade some tears, as she was helpless seeing an infant die. Though she didn't even know the baby, she felt a special connection to the baby. The same night, Helena ran back to where she found the baby girl and she buried the baby at the same spot before anyone else could notice it. The next day morning, when Miss Helena had prayed all night for the repose of the baby’s soul, sister delphine was passing in the forest that very morning to get some woods for the chimney, she heard so baby wail in the forest, this frightened her as she thought of those horrific tales told about the forest, yet she couldn't help but follow the persisting sound of what seemed to be like a baby weeping. She followed the sound until she found a baby buried alive in the ground with her feet shooting out as they were helplessly twirling out for help, she quickly dug the ground with her bare hands and shoved the baby off the hole. She ran back to their mother's superior’s office, which was in the orphanage. Sister Delphine ran panting and out of breath, she called “Mother! Mother! Mother! A baby! A baby! I found a baby” she barged into the office without knocking with the baby all covered in red soil in her arms, panting like a horse which had ridden several kilometres nonstop. Luckily for her, Miss Helena was alone in her office. Helen immediately stood up, ready to yell at the stupid young sister who just barged in without a knocking yet once she notices the baby covered with wet soil in Delphine’s arms, she remained quiet. She calmly walked to Delphine shivering with the baby in her arms. Sis Helen walks slowly towards the baby, her heart pounding, she slowly lifts the covers of the baby and sees the exact spot on the child similar to the baby she has buried, but this one was healed, only scars were visible. This marvelled Helen, yet she kept her excitement to herself and acted like nothing was wrong. And when a subtle tone, she asked Delphine, “Where did you find her?” Miss Helena inquired. Delphine answers in a rapid and impatient tone, “Towards the fifth tree stump found at the northeast of the forest, she was buried alive, mother! someone buried a baby alive!” Delphine couldn't help anymore but cry in anguish and be horrified at people’s wickedness up to the point of burring a baby alive. With a low tone, Helen said, you never know why things happen the way they do, Delphine in surprise asked Helen if she is trying to justify the act. Helena in confusion mixed with pity said, “It's fine!” she tapped Delphine’s shoulders, Delphine was just a young sister of 20yrs old, a newbie to the orphanage and she loved babies. “Now, you’re the private keeper of this child, only you have the right to carry, clean, feed her, so she is like your baby. Also! any abnormalities you notice on her you only report it to me, only me! and no one else!. Have I made myself clear?” “Yes! Mother! thank you, mother!” she answered with her trembling but a pleasing voice. “Good! go and clean her now, I will get back to you shortly!” with that said she left. . . “It's fine Nadia, you can leave, I will see what to do and get back to you!” Miss Helena told the young girl seated in her office. “Thank Mother!” Nadia nodded her head with a sigh of relief got up and walked out of the office.
