Kelvin being confused decided it will be better to at least look around first, but before he could go anywhere, A humanoid toad dressed in a tux appeared in front of him out of nowhere, kelvin immediately jumped back on guard of this unknown creature.

"Hoho, that's not a nice reaction I say" the creature said smiling suspiciously

"If you show such a scary face, this little guide will hurt I say", kelvin was seriously suspicious of the creature but if he still needed information.

"Guide?" kelvin asked

"yes guide, you can say I watch over this small world, nothing to special I say" Kelvin was confused, a mysterious creature claiming its some kind of god or something, kelvin used his skill [Observation] to check its information but all he could see was corrupted text and some question marks in place of his info.

"What's with his stats?"

"oh oh, I see you are blessed with a special eye, but you won't be able to see anything as you are currently I say. Even with Yggdrasil's journal you won't see anything"

 "how did he know about the book", kelvin was shocked, how did he know about the book, those thoughts went through his head, kelvin became more wary of the guide, quickly drawing aura for his strongest move in case of anything, he was spotted by the guide, "oh, I wouldn't do that if I where you" immediately appearing at his back, "now what a frightening energy you have here, if I got hit by that It might have actually left a scratch I say" it said with a disturbing smile as it looked at him, kelvin could sense from the energy around it as it stood there, that one wrong move and it could kill him without lifting a finger.

The guide looked at him after he gave up any sign of hostility

"ok ok, I guess it's time to formally introduce myself, but before that I think we should move to a place more fitting for a discussion I say"

Immediately changing the entire scenery or rather moving them to another place entirely, suddenly in a white room decorated in a royal kind of way. The guide told him he was originally meant to come to this room first but because of some disturbing pest he couldn't come and greet him on arrival, prostrating himself to kelvin in show of his apology.

Kelvin was confused at this sight, why someone who could effortlessly erase him, will be apologizing in such a way?. But kelvin kept all his question to himself, still cautious of the guide, he kept all his question to a possible minimum.

"So what is this place or rather why am I here?", kelvin said that knowing that the place surely as connections to the [Book of Knowledge] and he must have been given that box that sent him here for a reason.

"what a smart one we have here, of course you where brought here for a reason, but that information isn't something you need to know as you currently are I say"

"As I am currently?, you said that before to, what do you mean by that"

"hehehe, I thought you were smarter than this"

"what do you mean?"

"I mean you are far to W E A K!, hahaha" the guide said, laughing uncontrollably, as if it was mad, but kelvin didn't find it amusing, it was as if it found kelvin weakness amusing. Kelvin hates being weak, but whats he hates more his someone stronger than him, looking down on him. In rage kelvin asked "How then can I get strong, stronger than you" with eyes burning with determination.

"ha ha HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!" The guide burst Into laughter, just with that he made the entire room, no the entire space tremble, kelvin himself couldn't handle the pressure.

"ah, sorry about that, its been a while since I found such an interesting candidate I say"

"for the answer to your question, its simple, go through the seven trails, completely assimilate with the [book] and regain your rightful position" the guide said bowing down to him in a way a servant does the his master. "now go and uncover your fate".

The guide sent him away in a beam of light, "as the guide of greed, I shall watch over your exploits".

As kelvin was swept away in that been of light, he suddenly was transported to back where he started at the forest. The system suddenly popped up with a new notification.

 "7 fallen dungeon's?, is that the 7 trials he was referring to?"

A beam of light suddenly appeared from nowhere leaving behind a knife and a set of clothes with some leather armor, realizing he was still in the hospital gown, kelvin quickly changed and equipped the knife.

As kelvin moved towards the deep part of the forest, the feeling he got was completely different from before, as if he just entered a different world, the surroundings became darker too as if it was already nighttime, he looked back at where he was coming from, but couldn't find it, the path was completely gone, it like it wasn't even there in the beginning. Kelvin decided to move on, looking for a shelter he could stay in for now, walking for hours endlessly, he couldn't find any safe place to lay down, tired and hungry kelvin was almost out of energy when he found a shelter with some fruit looking things, he could tell it was edible using one of his [Observation] skill, a huge monster with the stature of a boar but three times the size approached kelvin, 'Ground boar' that was the name he saw using the [observation] skill, he could tell by the way the beast was looking at he could tell that it was furious at him for invading his territory, kelvin looked at it, not sure he could fight something this big, moving slowly backwards trying to put some distance between them but he was noticed by the beast, giving out a deadly cry which will make a normal person unconscious followed by a rushing head-butt but kelvin still dodged it though he was still harmed by the cry from before. Kelvin was in a tight spot, he needed a miracle to get him through this.

"RAAAWWWWRRRRR!!!!!!"

A load roar came from the right side stopping the beast movements, kelvin was in a dire state, what kind of monster could make this beast shake in fear. Two wolf like looking beast with spikes at their backs and their spilt tails. kelvin wasn't in his best condition, not only that he wasn't experienced in fighting non- humans, he was desperate, already in a bad enough situation with the ground boar but two more beast joined, if the worst comes he would use an [Aura] skill at full power. One of the wolf beast used its tail to pierce through the boar like it was butter in an instant, ravaging through the corpse of the ground boar, the beast didn't even look at the kelvin as they were salvaging the corpse. Kelvin tried escaping but at that moment one of the beast looked at him, but looked away right after not even given any concern to kelvin. Kelvin looked at the beast with resentment, "you don't even consider me a prey, just how weak am I to you", he looked at their information with his skill and for some reasons he could see more information from them,
