After a while, kelvin calmed down, taking the chance, he finally looked around and what he saw was a gruesome battle ground with what seemed to be the smashed up, b****y corpse of the mutated dire wolf.
"Holy s**t… what happened here?" He asked wondering who or what could caused such a scene. He was bewildered, such a strong monster is currently lying on the floor, crushed like an insect and what's worse is that the damage of the surrounding area doesn't do enough justice, what I mean is that, no matter how you see this, who or what ever beat this monster was definitely stronger and by a lot.
*You happened, host*
"Eh?!"
*What caused this surrounding damage and defeat the monster, also leading it to that state was you, host"
"Stop playing around, how is it po..."
*The system doesn't play around, all the statement made by the system are true, it was the host who did this*
"…. Ah! You've gat to be kidding me?!, How do you think I could do this kind of damage, if I was this strong, I wouldn't have had to struggle that much with that f*****g monster!, shadow hound wouldn't have sacrificed itself for me! And I won't even be here in the first place if I had that kind of strength! So stop f*****g with me" he shouted out with frustration.
"And I…?! What's…what's this?!"
He stopped talking as he suddenly noticed something strange about his body.
"What's going on?! My body feels… different"
He was suddenly filled with energy, in every tissue and cell of his body, it was like he went through his third rebirth, but something wasn't right, normally after someone attains their third rebirth, a huge flow of [ki] is meant to surge through every part of the body
*What that is, host, is what humans of this generation call awakening, though the host awareness of the Mana exceeds most humans*
"Awakening?!"
He was confused, hasn't he already gone through awakening? I mean wasn't it because of awakening that he was able to get his past memories and also the [book of knowledge] and the system?.
"Haven't I gone through awakening already?!"
*The system doesn't understand the host's question?*
"You're telling me I just went through awakening now right?! So what exactly happened to me when I used the forced awakening machine in the beginning?!"
*According to the memory of the host, the system as analyzed that the process which the host went through at that time wasn't awakening*
"Ehhh!!! Then what was it? I mean I got my memories back and all, wasn't that because of the awakening?!"

"Unstable? Wait!... Are you telling me that I died… I mean the real owner of this body died and the [book of knowledge] dragged my soul into this body?!"

*The host soul wasn't dragged, rather it was called or you could say it was also attracted. The [book of knowledge] could only retrieve a residual soul which was within its authority with the little power it had present*
"Ah! I remember"
Kelvin at that moment remembered his last moments in his past life, dying alone in a dark cold room, with no one by his side.
Back then in his last moments, he looked at the ceiling of the room he was laid at, wishing no… praying, for a chance, a chance to change it all, to start again once more, redoing all his wrongs and living a life he will never regret.
"I can't believe I forgot that, Now I know why all this happened. At my last moments, my desires were strong enough to make my soul roam around and the book saved me, by bringing my lost soul into this body"
He was surer of what his purpose was than ever before, blessed with his second life, he wasn't going to waste the opportunity and what was the best way he could live this life peacefully with no regret?.
Strength, that was the answer, only with him being strong could he live in such a world without losing anyone he loved dearly. Besides, he knew that he had get stronger since he really started using the book. Honestly it was more like an urge to get stronger, like something was driving in him to get stronger.

He was shocked by how far he improved, looking at these ridiculous figures made him surer of his improvement.
"Also some of the names are different from what they used to be in the beginning and other things were added to" he said, taking note of the fact that the new energy he created was also added to the status.
"Beast tamer? What's that" he said as he noticed a strange title.
Immediately a smaller screen popped up beside it, displaying information on the title.

"Also I think it's about time I give you a name, calling you shadow hound is getting tiring"
The shadow hound wagged its tail slightly, like it was excited about getting a name, but still kept a plane expression, trying to act like it doesn't care about a name.
"About Adal, it means noble wolf and since you're like a wolf and you have that crown shaped mark on your fore head plus you're a guy, it seems perfect"
The shadow hound shifted his head, as if he didn't care but its tail said otherwise, wagging left to right rigorously, you could tell it was thrilled with the name.
"pfft, let's go with that then, Adal, that will be your new name from now on".
