~Turning point battle~

Kelvin was terrified. Under such a monster the fact he was still conscious was already incredible. The pressure coming from the monster alone was enough reason for him to pass out. He has never felt such an overwhelming presence before, not even the time he first got here and was cornered by those two dire wolves was comparable to this beast. "Grrr!" the shadow hound growled with a weak tone, bravely facing the beast even under the massive pressure coming from the beast. Kelvin looked at the shadow hound and was surprised at how fearless it was. He let out a grin afterwards wiping off the blood from his mouth, he muttered "now this is embarrassing, I can believe I was scared even when this wolf who his weaker than me still had the courage to face the beast", Steeling his resolve to face the beast. "GRRRAAAWWWW!" A loud paralyzing roar pierced through the air, causing kelvin and the shadow hound to flinch for a moment, followed by an attack with its tails, luckily they were able to evade the attacks by a hairs length. Kelvin was in a bind, currently the strength he had wasn't enough to take the monster head on, if that wasn't bad enough, he was separated from the shadow hound and that was something he wanted to avoid at all cost. With those long tails the monster uses to attack, you will definitely not want to be giving distance between yourself and the monster. Different thoughts were going though his mind on how he could deal with the beast. While he was busy pondering on what to do, the shadow hound had other ideas. Running ferociously towards the beast, the shadow hound didn't hesitate to attack it, but it wouldn't go that easy, the beast used its tails to strike at the shadow hound, evading the tails with lighting speed and fast reflexes, it came close enough to bite the beast legs, but was knocked back by one of its tails as it was about to sink it's teeth in it. When the shadow hound was knocked down, the beast attacked it again to finish it if. "ah, your one fearless mutt aren't you?!, I guess I shouldn't waste your efforts then" kelvin said with a grin as he threw knifes with [aura] at the beast, blocking the attack effortlessly, the beast used its tail to deflect the knifes. After that attack kelvin vanished from the beast front, immediately attacking it from above, striking at the beast eyes with his dagger, damaging one of its eyes, it immediately retaliated, knocking kelvin of its head. "Tch!, the dagger couldn't go deeper into its head" Kelvin was concerned by the toughness of the beast, if it's like this the dagger will be completely useless against it. "Arg! This is annoying, just how strong is it" kelvin was in a serious dilemma, currently he wasn't in his best state the same with the shadow hound and the only weapon he had was useless against it. "What do I do now?, even if I use [Aura] to reinforce the dagger, it has a limit to how much it can strengthen It, plus I currently don't have enough [aura] to waste on reinforcement and shadow hound isn't in any condition to attack" he said in dismay, "just what can I do… Wait!", kelvin suddenly got an idea. Kelvin quickly rushed towards the beast, confronting it's attack head on, he rushed through, barely dodging any of its strike's. Right in the process of running straight for it, he concentrated [aura] in his hand punching the ground, creating a smoke screen directly in front of the beast, obstructing the beast vision for a moment, he immediately used [flash step] to dash to where the shadow hound was. Kelvin checked the shadow hound condition if it was stable or not, but before he could do anything more, the beast attack again, not giving them any chance to recuperate. Kelvin fortunately dodged the attack but this time he didn't escape unscathed. He was badly injured and didn't have much energy to move, plus he has been using [aura] to speed up the shadow hound's recovery. He began thinking again on what to do and this time it was critical, one mistake and it could lead to their deaths. Contemplating on his situation, an idea suddenly showed itself to him. Kelvin jumped towards the beast, using every last bit of [aura] he had to strengthen his attacks and boost his speed, with great speed he clashed with the beast, exchanging several blows with it, but it seemed he wasn't in a favorable position. Though the beast sight was impaled by kelvin earlier, it's speed wasn't slower to kelvin's by any means plus it used its tails to attack while kelvin only had two hands, he was bound to lose, he knew that but kept on attacking, why? What trick did he have up his sleeve?. At this point kelvin was almost out of energy, covered in his blood, he was still struggling with the beast, ruthlessly fighting like a wild beast with no way out. Suddenly His attacks stopped. About to be dealt a deadly blow by the beast. Kelvin, in the nick of time, dodge its attack, while grinning he held the tails the beast used to attack him and said "you made a grave mistake, for thinking I was fighting you alone", suddenly the shadow hound jumped out of kelvin shadow and slashed through its tails. "ARRRRRRGGGRRRR!!" he beast cried out with a loud roar. Kelvin didn't waste the opportunity he had, rushing forward with the shadow hound to strike the beast when it's down, but to their surprise, they were stroked back with another tail from nowhere. The beast at moment began to gather energy, immediately healing its injuries, the eye that was damaged, the tails that where cut down, and the other injuries it sustained during the battle. "you got to be kidding me?! It can regenerate too?!" Now he was out of options, out of strength and beaten, he could never expect to take on such a beast. Moving closely to kelvin, the beast raised on of its tail aimed at kelvin, as it went to strike kelvin, the shadow hound suddenly jumped in front of the attack, taking the hit for itself. As the beast tail was withdrawn, the shadow hound fell to the ground close to where kelvin was laying , he quietly watched it lay beside him as it was bleeding out. At that moment kelvin's mind was blank, "why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?" , those were what crossed through his mind as he was in a blank state, as if soulless, he watched as his companion was dying beside him. "Weak! Weak! I'm weak! Too weak! Far too weak! Weak!" kelvin's mind was about to break, the sight of the shadow hound dying because of him made him question himself, was he actually getting stronger, was he improving at all, what was the point of all this?, why was he thinking he was actually strong in the first place?, he continued questioning himself, blaming himself on the shadow hound's death, kelvin was on the verge of losing himself. "It seems I have to step in this time, can't have you loosing yourself on me, you still have a lot to do" a gentle voice spoke out to him, suddenly a flash of golden light enveloped kelvin. After the light dimmed down, kelvin was totally transformed. He was floating with eyes which glowed, golden hair blazing as if it was fire, gold light emitting from vein like marks around his body and the mark on his shoulder. Kelvin was like another person, no another being, enormous energy was surging around him, even his composure was different, he had the aura of a king, even the beast was wary. "hm? That must be what made him like that" looking at the body of the shadow hound, completely ignoring the beast he went towards the shadow hound. The beast was enraged at that, rushed straight at kelvin. As he kept his hand over the shadow hound and a shined covered the body of it, at that moment the beast was about to strike kelvin. In that moment multiple transcription circles formed around the beast, surfacing from those transcription circles were chains formed from the ground which restrained the beast. "What an impudent insect, how dear you interrupt me?!" An enormous pressure was released for a moment as he uttered those words, making the beast quiver in fear. Suddenly the beast started shaking, it's eyes glowed with a blood red color, followed by a large amount of energy swarming towards it, as a bizarre energy started forming inside it. Freeing itself from the restraint it began to transform, first growing bigger, then more tails surfaced, even its stature began to change, standing on two feet while spikes on its back here larger. But all this didn't fazed him at all, rather he looked more disappointed. "Such a despicable lifeform, you still dare bare fangs at me! What's more with that pitiful excuse of power, don't you have any fear?!". The beast suddenly roared in a crazed way at him, rampaging everything in its way, rushing towards him, it seemed that after the beast transformed it also lost any sign of reasoning. "It seems you need to learn what fear is, let me educate you" Suddenly transcription circles appeared on the ground, countless barbs formed from the ground emerged from those circles, in a few seconds, a hundred no five hundred, maybe more stone barbs where floating in sky pointed at the beast, before it could even react to it, countless barbs rained on the beast. It continued for a while, as countless stone barbs rained down, it won't even be strange if entire terrain changes. As the last one was shot down, he waited for the dust to clear, to his surprise the beast was still standing though heavily wounded, you could see some of the barbs stuck in it. It seems it used its tail to protect itself from some of the attack while using its regeneration to heal itself in the process. It should barely be able to move, after using that amount of energy to heal itself it shouldn't even be able to stand. The beast still didn't give up, even after facing such power, it still tried to make a move. It was like when he went into a berserk state it really lost all reasoning and only wants to attack. "Such a worthless creature, not knowing when to stop is what makes your kind insignificant, gaining power at the cost of your mind, disgusting!" he stated in repulsed tone, "now be gone from my sight!" he said as two large transcription circle formed on the floor at both sides of where the beast was. Emerging from the circle were two big hands shaped stone, colliding together, smashing the beast in between, at that time another big transcription formed under it, sending ground spikes through it. "since that's over, I should go for now, …but before I go I should leave him a little gift" Three hours later, kelvin opened his eyes. Greated by a huge white wolf leaking him, he was utterly surprised. But he immediately noticed something familiar about this wolf, plus he strangely didn't feel hostile to it. Later realizing it was the shadow hound that was supposed to be dead.
