FINDING GOD

435 Words
girl I felt like I was going through a period of turmoil in my life. I was growing up and trying to figure out who I was and where I fit in the world. I had always believed in God, but I didn't have a personal relationship with Him. I went to church and did all the "right" things, but I didn't truly understand what it meant to have a relationship with God. It wasn't until I was about 16 years old that I really started to seek God and find Him in my life. I was going through a difficult time with my family and I felt lost and alone. I remember one night I was lying in bed and I just started talking to God. I poured out all my worries and fears to Him and asked Him to help me. At that moment, I felt a sense of peace and comfort wash over me. It was like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I realized that God was listening to me and that He cared about what I was going through. From that point on, I started to actively seek out God in my life. I started reading the Bible and praying every day. I also started going to a youth group at my church and surrounding myself with other believers. As I continued to seek God, I started to see His hand in my life more and more. I saw how He was constantly guiding and protecting me, even in the midst of difficult situations. I also started to understand His love for me and how He had a plan for my life. One of the most defining moments in my journey with God was when I went on a mission trip to a third-world country. Seeing the poverty and struggles that people faced every day made me realize how blessed I was and how much God had provided for me. It also showed me the power of God's love and how it can transform lives. Since then, my relationship with God has only grown stronger. I have faced challenges and struggles, but I know that I am never alone because God is always with me. He has brought so much joy, peace, and purpose into my life. Finding God has truly changed my life. I no longer feel lost and alone, but instead, I have a sense of direction and purpose. I am grateful for His love and grace, and I know that I will continue to seek Him and grow in my relationship with Him every day.
