I shook my head. “I have never met you before in my life. I would have remembered.” I studied the tall, well build older man in front of me. He looked to be around seventy, give or take a few years. He was sitting cross legged on the iron floor like he was taking part in a yoga class, not imprisoned by his mortal enemy. The one thing that did strike me, was how much like my mom he looked. Frighteningly like her, as if she had morphed into a man without me knowing. I could not say for sure he was my uncle, but he certainly was related to my mom in some way. “You look so much like her.” I whispered, before I could stop myself.
