I woke up curled against Blane’s hard chest. His arms and legs round me like an octopus. I snuggled into his chest and breathed in his scent….it was like coming home every time I got a whiff of it. I felt his heartbeat against my cheek, it was the most soothing sound in the world. Like waves lapping on a beach or birds chirping in the trees, this was my sense of calm, my happy place. I felt his arm move upwards as his hand stroked through my hair.
“Morning Mac”, he said in the sexiest sleepy voice ever.
