Chris Luo (Luo Xin Yang) POV, it is another regular day at work, I'm tired and stressed but still I'm thankful that I can help people get over their pain, it's the reason why I wanted to be a doctor in the first place. It's break time now and I want to get some rest, I went to the restroom or on- call room where doctors can rest or eat, unfortunately I found many doctors gathering and spending time by having their lunch and speaking about their lives. As usual Dr. Evan Is taking about her kids, she is such a proud single parent. after her husband passed away couple years after having their second child, she never thought of getting married again, she loves her husband and her kids more than anything. she only has her friends at work, other than her work and her house, she has no real connection to the outside world. She only goes out with her kids and friends at work, so, she has nothing else to talk about and she doesn't want to talk about anything other than how lovely her kids are and how much she is proud of having them in her life. a woman who found herself all alone after the death of her only love since childhood would never be able to raise such wonderful kids as she did. She is strong and all the doctors whether old or young always ask for her advice Even the ones that are to get married and start their new life, she is like everyone's mother. I'm not going to lie; I like her stories with her kids, and I act like I don't care but I'm very interested in the way she managed to grow her kids up and make them amazing human beings that everybody loves them. Well, I don't know them and never got the chance to meet them yet, I'm just back from abroad were I studied my major, I was never interested in love and whatsoever, but Every time I hear more about her story, I just feel like wanting to have someone that loves me so much even if I'm not there anymore and have great kids as hers. I like the idea of me living such a wonderful life with such a special person, but I know that such a thing is not in today's world anymore. Anyways, I'll leave this room, I can't rest when they are all moms and dads and talking about their kids and all these heartwarming stories that I'll never be able to get one in this life. I went out of the room, I walked myself to the supermarket next doors, I wanted to get some refreshing drink, maybe an iced coffee or something. While walking in the mall trying to pick some drinks and snacks, someone got in the store, and everyone started looking at that person. It felt weird but I looked as well out of curiosity, I saw the strangest figure I've ever seen in my whole life. There was a girl in black mask, blue jeans and white blouse and a Black coat on top with her gloomy hair pinned up beautifully yet in a careless way, she was full of charisma and charm at the same time. Her eyes were like those ones that are ready to murder someone. That is scary, I couldn't look away for a while. She walked in and headed to the section I was standing at, starting to pick some chocolates and snacks. She was about to pick some Drinks that I was just picking up then I remembered that the guy working here told me that these ones are expired, and they are working on removing them, I stepped forward to trying to tell her that. I tapped on her shoulder slightly and then she turned around to me, I was speaking but then she raised her hands pointing to her ears telling me she can't hear and then she turned back and walked away to pay for her stuff. I watched her walking to store guy to pay, that's when he told her and turned the bottle to her so she could see the date and get what he meant, then she walked out. I thought she was a superstar or public figure due to the attention she got as I heard someone was telling his friend, “Look, she is Back now" but after I knew she can't hear, I just think she is living in this neighborhood. I finished getting what I came for and then I went back to the hospital. Once I got to the entrance, I saw her standing at the receptionist. I thought she might need help and I walked over to help her but as I got near them, I heard them asking questions and I was just about to tell them she can't hear or speak but all of a sudden, she talked back to them and then they were speaking friendly and laughing as if they knew each other for a long time. I was angry and pissed off, she just fooled me, didn't she?! I stepped forward and yelled at her " it's rude to lie to people, you know” I really don't know why I did that, but wait, why her eyes are so green and beautiful, wasn't it scary black just now in the mall, is she a foreigner?! My mind stopped asking questions when she replied to me, " who are you and when did I ever lie to you??, I don't even remember talking to you?!" Wait what, she doesn't even remember meeting a guy like me just now???! For some reason, I'm more than just angry now, I'm being mad over what she said. I heard the receptionist calling me out " Dr. Chris, I'm sorry but I think you mistook her for someone else” I looked at her fiercely ignoring the nurse and said "What a big fat Liar" I by then turned to Walk away not wanting to make a scene in the hospital, there were people looking already, it's better to call it a day this time. I found someone grabbing me from behind forcing me to turn back and then out of nowhere I was Punched to the ground, I looked up only to know that she was one who gave me that punch. That was a freaking strong punch, I would never believe it was her if I didn't receive that punch myself. I heard her saying " Dr. Luo, I'm really sorry about this. There is no problem anymore, I'm leaving now!" She was turning back when he called her name to stop her" Jin Xu Niang, stop right there" she by then apologized again this time more desperately" I'm really really really sorry Dr.luo, promise I won't do that again, don't worry." I almost laugh, hit by almost forgotten the fact that she knows him as well?! He opened his mouth again to say " I said follow me now" he said it more calmly this Time and turned back not allowing her to try on getting out of this anymore. I was starting to follow him to his office when someone hit me by shoulder and gave a killer stare. Yes, it was her. I smirked at her with an expression saying ' you can't do anything' that made her angry and just continued to walk after dr. Luo. Once he entered the room he said " get in and close the door" I was the last to enter so I shut the door behind me and then was surprised to find her running to hold his arm while saying " uncle Luo, please let me go this time and don't tell my mom about this, I promise I won't do it again, please uncle Lou" I was amazed to the point that I couldn't even laugh over how clingy and cute she was trying to be, other than calling my own dad uncle, that was strange to me as well?! Yes guys, this hospital is owned by my family, my dad has been running this hospital for over 20 years, it's one of the top hospitals in the country now. " But I already know, I saw everything jin jin" my thoughts were cut off by someone, I looked only to find that dr. Evan is standing in front, oh my god ' don't tell me it's her mother, oh, she is, now everything is clear to me. My mom's close friend is dr. Evan and when she was studying abroad, she married her husband but after he passed away, she returned to China to live with her mother to help her with the kids. My mom told me that the reason we moved was to live in the neighborhood they live in because dr. Evan's mother passed away few months before I'm back.' " mom it was him, I promise, he was one who pissed me off" dr. Evan replied to her daughter" you shut up, I don't want to hear anything from you" she by then helplessly moved to her mother's side to hold her hand " mom, I Know I'm wrong, I'm sorry, please don't be mad at me, I love you" I couldn't help it anymore, I let out a quiet laugh only to be noticed by my dad to stare back at me and scolded me " what are you laughing at?!" I tried to control myself and look at him seriously to say while rising my voice" nothing, I'm sorry dad" she turned her head to me once she heard the word 'dad' and she repeated the word 'dad' trying to understand. " Yes, have any objections" I replied teasing her, I really like the plot twist by now.
