ACYN
I was busy asking Dregan about how he and his sister knew about Alora and her mother being the Moonstone wolves when I realized she wasn’t in the library anymore. I hadn’t heard the heavy wooden doors to the hallway move, so that only left one other area she would have escaped to- outside.
“Do you have security watching the house? Guarding it?” I asked Dregan, my voice laced with concern that she was outside without protection.
“No, why?”
“Alora- she’s not in here...”, I answered, grabbing everyone’s attention and I began to pace.
“She should be safe though- we haven’t had any concerns since I’ve lived here” Edayna offered as both she and Jon joined in, but it did little to ease my mind.
“But you were in that car accident and your office was ransacked...” Dre
