After 16 months of silence, Samira receives a worn leather notebook with a single chilling sentence in her missing twin sister’s handwriting:> “They lied about my death. Don’t trust him.”This message reignites Samira’s search, leading her back to her sister’s sealed apartment, where she finds a phone with a disturbing draft: a reference to a man watching Leila from the 12th floor—the same floor Samira now lives on.As she digs deeper, Samira uncovers a complex web of surveillance, psychological manipulation, and secrets Leila never shared. Her search attracts dangerous attention, including from a charming neighbor who may be more than he appears. With each clue, the line between paranoia and truth begins to blur. And all the while, one question haunts her:> Is Leila really dead... or has she become part of something Samira can’t even begin to understand?

The Message She Never Sent
Rain tapped gently on the glass as Samira stepped into the small apartment she hadn’t visited in nearly two years. The faint scent of lavender still lingered in the corners, even though Leila—her twin sister—had been gone for sixteen months. Dead, they said. Missing, Samira believed. The apartment had been sealed by the police for months, declared a cold case after no solid leads emerged. Now, with the case officially closed and the keys back in her hand, Samira stood alone, clutching a worn leather notebook that had arrived anonymously in her mailbox just three days ago. Inside it was a single sentence, written in Leila’s unmistakable handwriting: > "They lied about my death. Don’t trust him." Her heart pounded as she looked around. The place looked untouched — photos still on the wall, a half-used candle by the sink, and a cracked phone charger dangling from the nightstand. She walked over to the desk by the window and opened the bottom drawer. Empty. Except for a phone — Leila’s old one. Dead battery. She plugged it in and waited. When it flickered to life, there were three unsent messages in the drafts. The first two were incomplete, nonsense almost. But the third… > “If you find this, it means I was right. He’s watching me. I know who he is now. The man in the elevator. 12th floor. Midnight.” Her breath caught. That was her building. Her floor. Samira turned toward the window. Across the street, in the building opposite hers — the lights on the 12th floor had just turned off.
