After hundreds of years, the fairy kingdom came under the rule of a new king. More bitter than any other because hopes of his prosperity were shattered like a broken piece of glassware.

A prophecy which was not yet clear and which ought not to be entangled with would stir up trouble for the fairies as a result of the selfishness of their king.

Prophecies can't be detailed once, they require patience and that the king of the fairies didn't have.

Taking into consideration only a part of the prophecy, the king who was neither a soothsayer or seer predicted the humans to be the cause of their downfall.

Little did the king know that the enslavement of the humans would lead to happenings related to the prophecy and love between fairy and human which would bear what was not clear.

What happens when another prophecy is read, one where the prophecy carrier was neither human nor fairy having no form of which the prophecy was willing to reveal.?

What happens when it turns out that the prophecy is being manipulated to show a truth and then a lie.

It is up to the king whether to see the truth as a lie or the lie as the truth.

But with every waiting hour the light of the fairies are going dim and that of the prophecy carrier like a spark of light.

Chapter one
FOUR HUNDRED YEARS LATER; A new era began, and the lives of the humans was changed by just a simple prophecy. The new era affected not just the humans but the fairies as well as their rival creatures, the Nymphs. In a palace high above the ground, the new king of the fairies fumed with anger as he listened to the Diviners latest divination. Diviners were soothsaying fairies who had the extraordinary ability to see the future and predict events up to a thousand years ahead. King Elrond, the king of the fairies, listened with displeasure written all over his face. His reign was just beginning and when he'd hoped to hear of his prosperity, the Diviners were predicting nothing but doom. Doom relates to humans, those pesky creatures living far below them. How would the humans ever even reach them? But he knew better than to doubt the powers of the Diviners. Just a few fairy years ago, they'd predicted that he would become King even when he had no claim to the fairy throne. Their divination had come to reality, so he had no reason to doubt them. Even if the humans had no wings, who's to say they couldn't develop wings and fly up to Fairyland in the sky? When he was but a boy he'd flown too low and he'd seen many wonders and mysteries in the human world. The humans walked very slowly but they had contraptions that would enable them to move faster than a forest hare and a lot more inventions he couldn't understand. The first thing he did was declare a lockdown. He barned the fairies from flying so low and he close the barrier between the Kingdom of the sky and the the rest of the world. The prophecy would mark a completely new era for the humans, it would also mark the end of time for the fairies. A time when the humans would interfere in their daily lives, a time when the strength, magic and immortality of the fairies wouldn't matter, a time when the humans shall rule the world. The king wasn't ready for that, he wouldn't wait around and let the prophecy be fulfilled, for he had other plans in mind which were not yet clear. He would do things, conduct secret meetings with his council and those close enough with him and he would share the secrets they would use to conquer the humans. The king had made a mistake, a mistake that would alter the life's of the fairies as they would forever live in fear. The fear of the prophecy ever happening if it ever would. No prophecy should be taken lightly and no one should try to interfere in the prophecy, because a prophecy happens as a result of the fear of the one it is told to. The king was afraid and fear drove him to think of things he would do and the things he had done. The king ordered one of his guards to visit the house of each and every member of the council telling them to appear at the palace the next day very early as they would have lots of things to discuss The king wandered the palace and poured down all the ancient scrolls searching for solutions. This decision of the king was unwise he was going into a state of panic for absolutely no reason, a king was meant to possess astounding abilities such as courage, but this king only possessed astounding looks. The king's wife noticed that he was disturbed and walked up to him saying; "My king, why are you troubled, why is your mind unsettled, is it because of what the diviner had said, whatever she said was a prophecy and prophecies can't be interfered until they have a clear picture of the one". The king looked at his wife and answered saying; "I am not troubled, why would a king such as me be trouble over a prophecy, i know and the prophecy has made the one known, it's the humans, they would put an end to us the fairies with their deadly weapons, i tell you the reason i fear is because, there had been a war between our kind and the humans and many fairies were lost in this battle, they might have captured fairies and used them for their selfish deeds and found a way to end us using our kind, mind you, only fairy can put an end to fairy" the king replied. The queen told the king she knew what he had said but the humans could never reach them that their kingdom was unapproachable to human feet. The king chuckled and replied, "Oh, they can, they can come up to us if they would search for help, but i will give them no such time to search for help, they would be imprisoned before they even know about the prophecy" The queen sighed and left the king alone as she would not be able to convince the king.
