With my eyes shut tightly, I desperately slammed the palm of my hands against the night stand, hoping to lay fingers upon the alarm clock to eliminate the disturbing noise, but instead my fingers flicked it to the ground. Highly irritated, I swung my feet over the edge of the bed with my eyes still shut tight. The night seemed to be gone too soon. I slowly opened my eyes into the little sunshine that peeked loudly through a little crack that I had forgotten in my curtains. I hopped onto my fluffy gray rug and wiggled my toes to wake up my wobbly legs. I finally reached for my alarm and shut the noise off.
