The Rogue Female Alpha

Chapter 1 Beep, beep, beep! Arghhh! Is it morning already? I say as I look at the clock, yep it is, it's six o'clock and I have to get out of bed, couldn't this dang alarm ring at eight? I hate waking up for school in the morning but let me just wake up before mom comes up here and starts shouting, Goddess knows I don't need that so early in the morning. My eyes feel so heavy, I'm beginning to regret staying up to study for today's math test, whoever invented math is a cruel, cruel person and they deserve to rot in hell, I complain as I make my way to the bathroom to get ready for the day. "Aziza, come down stairs, breakfast is ready!" mom shouts from the kitchen as I make my way down stairs. As I reach the kitchen, I am met by the beautiful warm, smile of my mom,Rose, her dark hair is tied into a messy bun which looks totally cute on her and her brown eyes sparkle as she flips the pancakes on the stove. My dad is sipping his coffee and reading a book that he recently discovered and is obsessed with it - I guess I get my bookworm tendencies from him- his neatly cut brown hair and well groomed beard made him look distinguished and his warm, gentle voice always made me feel safe. I joined my dad at the table and we chatted away as mom served us breakfast and then joined us when she was done and we all spoke about our plans for the day and it seems my parents are going to be very busy today as there has been rumors of rogues attacking nearby packs and it seems that our pack is next and my parents both have to be on the front line of protecting our pack as the Gammas of the Blue Moon Pack. After breakfast I say my goodbyes to my parents and head to meet my best friends, Jessica and Emma, we've been friends for 14 years, our whole lives basically people think we're only friends because of our parents. Emma is the Alpha's daughter and has a brother, Evan, who is totally cute and I've had a crush on him since forever. I wish that he could be my mate it'd be so great to be the future Luna of our pack, my other best friend ,Jessica, is the Beta's daughter and both her parents are Betas, despite what people say I believe that we would be friends regardless of our parents roles. I meeting the girls at the pack house, most people in our pack live in the pack house as it is safer and convenient and a few live outside the pack house like me and my parents. Both Jessica and Emma's families live in the pack house so I walk to the pack house everyday so we can all go to school together as I walking on my usual route to the pack house I hear weird growling sounds coming from the wood and there's a scent of rot or decay also coming from the woods but it is not really bad and I don't think I would have smelt it if it wasn't for my wolf instincts but there is also a sense of familiarity with it which is weird. Anyway I continue walking to the pack house and Jess and Em are already waiting for me outside. "Hey guys" I greet. "Hey, Hi" they reply simultaneously as we make our way to the car that drives us to school everyday, it is driven by Chase, an Omega whose responsibility it to transport us anywhere we want or need to go."So did you guys study for today's math test?" asks Em "Ughh don't remind me of that, I am not ready for it I just pray to moon Goddess that miss Jenkins changes her mind about us writing it today " says Jess and we laugh at are because she is well aware that there is no chance that is ever gonna happen, we spend the whole ride to school complaining about the upcoming test with Chase telling us how he also hated math in school. When we reach school the first person we see is Charlotte, our frenemy. great, just great, what a way to start our day. Well Charlotte is from a neighboring pack and we used to be friends growing up and as we grew we realized she is annoying and mean but what can you expect from someone whose father runs his pack like a dictatorship and treat his Omegas like slaves. Looking at the way she acts I just can't believe we used to be friends. "Well, Well if it isn't the three ninjas " she says and we walk right past her because we just do not have the time to entertain her shenanigans so we just leave her there speaking alone like the lunatic she is. School seems to drag on and on today but I'm glad I stayed up to study math because I wrote smoothly. By the end of the school day, we're the happiest people on earth. Chase arrives earlier than usual and is not his usual chatty self and there's just something that doesn't feel right there seems to be this ominous feeling surrounding the pack like something bad happened, when we ask him what's wrong he just ignores us now we're all worried when we reach the pack house we're rushed in and apparently we're under lock down. When we ask around people say that the pack is under a rogue attack and everyone from the Alpha to the warriors everyone is hands on in fighting the rogues which is unusual because normally when rogues attack they are defeated easily and we've never had to go on lock down. As time passes I get more and more worried about my parents they haven't called or anything I just wish I were old enough and had the ability to communicate to my wolf or access to the pack mindlink so I can find out what is going on with my parents. We're all sitting on the floor waiting to hear something and it seems like everyone who is not out fighting rogues is blocked from the pack mindlink then suddenly there's a weird pain in my chest like my heart is getting ripped out and it hurts so bad I feel like crying, screaming or shouting, I'm sweating like crazy my friends keep asking me if I'm okay and I just can't bring myself to answer, I feel hot and I'm sweating like crazy, what's going on? what's wrong with me?! my friends have gotten water for me and blowing air in my face and I calm down a bit from whatever was happening. "It hurts." "Huh?What?" I ask and I get weird looks from my friends. "Didn't one of you say something? I ask. "No, no one said anything" Em replies. Great now I'm hearing voices, what is up with me today? "It hurts, it really hurts" the voice says in my head. Wow I really am going crazy. "You're not going crazy, our parents are dead and it hurts" the voice says in a low voice. "Who or what are you? and why are you telling such horrible lies?" I say in my head. "I'm your wolf Amber" the voice says. "What that's not possible I'm only fourteen " I say I'm not supposed to be hearing or speaking to my wolf only Alpha's get their wolves when they are fourteen common wolves like me only get their wolves at eighteen when they meet their mates. "You're focusing on the wrong thing. Our parents are dead." She says "And no I'm not lying to you I wouldn't lie to you like that" and I just knew that it's true and I screamed my lungs out , my friends came to me to ask me what happened but I just kept screaming and then all of a sudden the world went dark.
