"They got so close to finding our coven!" I yelled to the witch who had been my go to for cloaking spells in the last few years. "She was literally touching beside where the door is...she must have had some sense of where it is which means you aren't doing it right or aren't creating a strong enough spell for it!"
"Sir," she started to say in order to deescalate the situation, "I am doing the cloaking spell right. That wolf turned vampire is just extremely sensitive and has a better memory than I would expect her to have...maybe she is just stronger than my spell?"
"Then maybe I should find a better witch!" I said as I pulled my hand back to strike her; however, before I could, I heard a small growl coming from the doorway of my office.
