I woke up the next morning ready and wanting to establish ourselves as a family and go to the dining room together to get breakfast. I left Bastian in bed for a moment so I could wake up my sons. However, when I stopped by the boys' bedrooms, both of them were empty. Panic overcame my already hormonal self and I burst into tears, running back to my bedroom to wake up my mate.
"BASTIAN!!" I yelled into the room, causing him to jump out of the bed, probably thinking that we were under attack from the vampires.
"WHAT? WHAT IS IT, LAILA?" Bastian yelled back at me in alarm.
"The boys...they aren't in their rooms...do you think they have already decided to leave us?" I sniffled as I walked to my mate and hugged myself up against his chest, taking comfort from the mat
