I was almost to my office down the hall from Bastian's when I heard Sabine's voice speaking behind me.
"Why are you so against one of your sons or both of your sons being with my daughter? I thought we had become friends over the years and that it would be an amazing match," Sabine asked me. "Not to mention, it is part of the pact we made with your pack and we must fulfill it."
I stopped in my tracks and turned around, seeing that both of the witch sisters were standing in the hallway behind me. Rage started to course through my body out of instinct as I felt cornered, and I could feel bloodlust pushing into my brain when the pact was mentioned.
