We spent the next few hours discussing the mate bond and other things about their future reign over the vampire kingdom while eating lunch.
"So you were going to mate one or both of us off to a random witch when the time came for us to be with someone?" Julien asked in disgust.
"It wouldn't be so bad, brother," Jasper said to his twin. "We would at least be able to mark them and maybe them mark us back...however witches do that. I'm not entirely sure about that part. With a vampire, we would never be able to bear their mark because it could maybe kill us."
