My ego was so high after we shifted early into our wolf counterparts. I couldn't speak to him like you usually can beforehand, but maybe that was just due to the extreme circumstances that forced me to shift. I'm not entirely sure why seeing Charlotte in that wicked man's clutches caused me to shift, but I have been riding a high since with us destroying all of those vampire lackies and being able to take Kyo into custody.
I was so excited to discuss what happened with our dad until we came upon him and our mother outside of the packhouse. He had rushed back so we assumed something had happened during the lockdown, but seeing our mom covered in blood and being supported by our dad while tears were running down her face wasn't what we expected.
