I licked my lips nervously before responding to Bastian with a small smile gracing my face, "Yes, I was pregnant. With your heirs, your twin sons actually."
He immediately pulled my body into a hug, before I felt him go rigid against me. Oh he just realized that I had his sons, but that they aren't here with me currently, I thought inwardly and wrapped my arms around him tighter...terrified that after he confirms his suspicions he would never want to be this close to me again - that he wouldn't want to see me around anymore since I abandoned his sons to keep myself safe.
