It's been a few days since Laila has escaped my coven. I had intended on finding her and bringing her back, but it wasn't long until I realized she had somehow managed to be found by her mutt mate before we were able to find her. I sent a few of my men to Moon Lake's territory so they could see if she was there and, of course, she was.
The men I sent had reported back telling me that they got there in time to attend a conference held by the alpha family. Bastian and Laila, along with his parents, were standing on a stage built outside with the pack members crowding around the ground in front of it.
