JAY'S POV
Pain seethed through my body erupting into a fire that I couldn't control. My wolf whimpered softly as I writhed in pain unaware of where I was. I could remember being on the floor helpless under Capheus but now the cold of the hard floor was gone. I could have used it to cool down even for a little bit.
I could feel the infection spreading through my body quickly and the more it did, the more it sucked the energy out of me. I could hear voices around me but telling them apart was impossible until I felt a hand touch me. I turned meeting a blurry image of someone leaning over me. It took a whole minute to realize who it was.
"Blossom-" I tried but I wasn't sure any sound left my mouth. I tried reaching out for her but my hand couldn't rise. I felt like I was paralyzed.
