The council elders were antagonized. I wasn't sure if it was because of the vampire's surprise visit regardless of them loving to isolate themselves from everyone else in the supernatural world or if it was because Blossom had decided to address them as if she was the leader.
Practically she was even though some of them were likely to choose ignorance over what had just happened. It just didn't make sense why Blossom had to go through that whole process while everyone else before her had just been hand chosen.
