Chapter Ten By the time Ma'at was finished with me, I was ready to go back to bed and rest for the rest of the day rather than facing meetings with my priestesses and whatever else the day had in store for me. But that wasn't an option. I had a duty to the people who served me, and I wasn't about to ignore that because I was tired. At least Ma'at hadn't wanted me to try and plot with her.
