Chapter 3When I woke up, I was still in Ted’s apartment, except on his bed instead of in the living room. He was standing over me looking all worried. “You okay?” he asked, expectantly. “You passed out.” Poor guy. Talk about your nightmare neighbors. “I’ve been better.” I sat up, my head still cloudy, but said clouds starting to part, darkened though they were. “You, uh, you recognized the guy in the picture?” I shrugged and sighed. “Yes and no.” Then he sighed and sat next to me on the bed. “Well, that’s a definitive answer.
