17 At that moment I could have killed my grandfather as he and Janus came hurrying up to us. In lieu of murder I gave him the dirtiest look I could muster. Sage stopped dead in his tracks a few short feet from us and looked from Caius to me. Realization dawned on him and there was real regret in his eyes. “I’m terribly sorry to interrupt, but I believe we may have an answer for the good executor, and must hurry back.” His words tempered some of my anger.
