18 A moment later one of the guards barged into the room. He doubled over for a moment with one arm clutching his chest and the other grasping his sword. The man raised his head and I heard Miela gasp. One side of his face was cut open and blood poured down his chin and neck. “Executor, the detention wing!” he choked out as he took a step forward. He stumbled and dropped to one knee.
