"is that all, your highness." said one of my maids Anne and suddenly I noticed her face. There were red marks on her face as if she was slapped. "what's wrong with your face Anne" she got afraid and hid her scars with her hands. "Anne, as your queen, I order you to tell me who gave you this scar". She stuttered and finally said "my husband, he works in the kitchen." she said.

"The emperor is ready for you, your highness" said Jia, my other maid. "you will be alright" I told Anne and left for my dinner with the king.
