She was so confused as she looked at me. "Afraid or what" I said.

"I am not afraid of anyone" she replied. She threw Ram's sword at me and picked the other sword in less than 10 seconds. I barely took my position as she charged towards me, I easily dodged her move and smiled at her. To my surprise she smiled at me too and then as I came on her she put her foot forward and i nearly dropped to the ground. She was really good. Never underestimate someone especially if that someone happens to be her. I gathered myself and charged on her, she escaped from below my elbow. "Advantage of being a women" she smiled. She was smart, I had to use my mind and I knew, she had studied my moves, she was going to lead if Emar fought with Arga, before we came up with this alliance to maintain peace. So i ran towards her with the sword in my right hand and rapidly changed it to my left hand and there she was. I had won.

Alina

He was too fast, and his move was surprising. He had me. "you were amazing" he said and I knew he meant it. "thanks" I replied. He laughed and whispered in my ear "you are sour loser" I frowned, I knew I was but it didn't mean he had to say that. "That was amazing" Renee exclaimed, totally stunned. That was when both of us broke our stare,and realized that there were other people there. Everyone was silent, none of them had ever seen a woman fight. Ofcourse they were surprised. "I will see you for dinner tonight" Vivaan said to me.

And then the emperor left. I felt a pang of jealousy. I know it should've been towards Alina spending more time with emperor, but it was more the emperor spending time with Alina. I was the one she had her dinner with, it felt our time. I knew that was preposterous but that was how I felt. The emperor never had dinner with the queens. Not even Meena, who was his best confidant. Though seeing the look of absolute horror on Meena was whimsical.

I went to Alina's room, she was getting ready for her dinner. "hey, there you are" she smiled at me and it felt like my entire being melted. " You look really beautiful" I said. She smiled at the complement. "He really likes you" I said breaking our silence. She was genuinely surprised. "who?" she said. "You know who" I said.

"how can you even think that?, he hates me or at least I do." this made me happy. "it didn't look like that." I said. "I don't know how it looked but I hate him, he stole everything. Ruined my life. I was supposed to be someone who would change the world, make it better not someone who sits idly in a palace doing nothing but gossiping nonsense."
