Chapter 40

I left to meet with the others commanders in creature class. I went in and sat down.

Kraven grabs a chair and sits next to me.

Kraven: “Is everything alright babe? You look concerned.”

Luna: “I don’t know to tell you the truth.”

Kraven: “What’s wrong? You want to talk?”

Teacher: “Kraven and Luna go outside if you’re going to be talking.”

Kraven gets up and grabs my hand.

Kraven: “Lets go babe.”

We left the classroom.

Luna: “Where are we going?”

Kraven: “Some place quiet. Don’t worry.”

Luna: “I never worry when I’m with you babe. I feel the safest next you.”

He smiled.

We walked in to the castles garden. There are flowers and fountains with benches all around. He takes me to the far end of it where there is a tree. We sat under it next to each other.

Luna: “Do you come here often?”

Kraven: “Yes.”

Luna: “Why here?”

Kraven: “Is quiet and far from people. Sometimes I just need to hear nothing you know.”

Luna: “It must be hard to have your type of hearing.”

Kraven: “Sometimes it gets to loud. So I come here to take a break from it all.”

He looks at me. And for a few seconds we stare in to each others eyes. He looks so cute, I blushed. He smiles.

Kraven: “Is nice to know you still blush for me.”

Luna: “What can I say, you are my weakness.”

I rest my head on his shoulder.

Kraven: “So what’s wrong babe.”

I told him about my mom and Lord Barek.

Kraven: “Well, that I did not see coming hahaha. Tristan must be devastated. And you, it must have been hard to witness such thing babe hahaha”

Luna: “It was horrible hahaha.”

Kraven: “Come here.”

He pulls me in where my body is resting on his and his chin is on my neck. I closed my eyes and laid there with him in silence. We were both enjoin our self’s.

Kraven: “I love you Luna.”

Luna: “I love you baby.”

He pulled me even closer and kissed my cheek.

We staid there talking for a few hours.

Kraven: “Is getting late Luna. You have to get ready for your date.”

Luna: “Yes, we better go.”

We got up. He grabbed my hand an pull me into his lips.

Kraven: “I promise you whatever happens in the future I will never stop waiting for you.”

Luna: “Please don’t leave the commanders.”

Kraven: “I cant watch you with him Luna. Give me a good reason for me not to go babe.”

Luna: “I need you.”

Kraven: “Your goanna have Tristan babe.”

Luna: “But ill need you to, Kraven.”

A tear falls from my eye. He cleans it softly with his finger. He tucks a few strands of my hair behind my ear.

Kraven: “That’s not good enough of a reason Luna.”

I Hesitated. And get nervous. I starred at him.

Luna: “I cant be in a world without you. Please at least wait until we married officially.”

Kraven: “Okay, I wont leave until that. But until that day comes I will fight for you babe.”

I smiled.

Luna: “Thank you. I love you.”

We hugged and started walking away. He reached for my hand and kissed it.

I got to the castle and got ready for my date with Tristan. I went outside to wait for him. I see him all dress up. As soon as he sees me he led out a big smiled.

Tristan: “You look beautiful my love.”

Luna: “And you look very handsome Tristan. And smell even better.”

He grabbed my hand.

Tristan: “Are you ready?”

Luna: “Yes I am.”

We started walking down to town. He never let go of my hand. This is the first time he does this in public. We get to the town and everyone is starring at us. He leans in and kisses me ending with smile.

Luna: “Tristan aren’t you worried about people seen us like this?”

Tristan: “I chose you Luna. I don’t care what others say or think. Your my one and only and is time for everyone to know.”

My heart started beating fast.

Luna: “And your dad?”

Tristan: “I could care less of what he thinks my love.”

We went in to this restaurant.

Waiter: “Good evening princess Luna and sir Tristan. Allowed me to take you to our most special table.”

Tristan: “Than you sir.”

We sat down across from each other. I see his blue eyes shinning like never before. He grabs my hand and stares at me.

Luna: “Are you okay my love?”

Tristan: “For the first time in my life I feel free my love. And I love it.”

I smiled.

Luna: “I’m so happy and proud of you Tristan. Your life wasn’t so good growing up with your dad. It even killed me how tuff he was with you sometimes.”

Tristan: “Yes, but I always had you there holding my hand making sure I was okay. Even your mom was more kind then him.”

I started thinking of how his dad was. He started teaching him sword fighting when he was six. And when he didn’t do it right he would scold him with a belt. Sometimes I saw bruises on his arms. I would aske about it but he was to ashamed to tell me what happened. I never liked his dad. And his mom never really had a voice when it came to Tristan. And yet he became this amazing man I see before my eyes.

We order our food. When it got there we ate it and then had some desert. We had some chocolate cake. He grabbed a piece of the cake and brought it to my lips I opened my mouth and he fed it to me. With a smile on his face he licks the chocolate from his finger.

I’m just intrigue with his blue eyes. We finished eating and left the restaurant. Holding hands all the way to the castle. We got in our room and we started kissing. We made love and fell asleep with him spooning me like he does every night.

Morning came.

I got up and ready. Woke Tristan up and I left to get breakfast. Tristan’s birthday is in three days and I’m exited for his announcement. I got to the dinning room and kissed Kraven in his cheek. We ate breakfast and Tristan got there.

Tristan: “Good morning commanders meet me outside when your done with breakfast and bring your shields with you.”

We finished eating and left.

Tristan: “Todays class is defense. Hopefully no one gets sent to the hospital this time.”

He started showing us new moves and techniques. We all did them and had fun to.

Selene: “Tristan you should be our permanent teacher you know.”

Commanders: “Yes please stay.”

Tristan smiles.

Tristan: “Well you can talk to the queen and see what she says. I would love to, it will be my honor but is not up to me. Well class is over. Tomorrow we have speed class. Ill see you all.”

I staid after everyone left. Tristan came near me and kissed me right there in the open. We had a little make out session.

Tristan: “Luna you have class. And I have a few things I have to do for my birthday. Ill see you tonight love.”

Luna: “Okay see you tonight but before you go.”

I pulled him in for a few more kisses.

I went to take my class. When it was over I left to practice my magic outside like always.

I was sitting there trying to cast fog. I looked up for a second and catch a glimpse of a man starring at me. I looked down but looked up again. I’ve never seen him before. He had blue hair and purple eyes a really good looking guy. Nothing I’ve seen before.

Luna: “Can I help you sir?”

He starts walking towards me.

Mystery man: “You must be Luna. Aren’t you?”

Luna: “Yes. And you are?”

Mystery man: “My name is Cedrick. Is good to finally meet you Luna.”

Luna: “You know no one is allowed to come in to the castles wall without permission. How did you gets pass the guards?”

Cedrick: “There weren’t any guards princess.”

Luna: “What’s you business here?”

Cedrick: “You are, princess.”

He gave me a creepy evil smile.

I got worried.

Luna: “What do you want with me?”

Cedrick: “You see my shadow monsters told me about you so I had to come and see you for my self.”

Luna: “You’re the demon?”

Cedrick: “Guilty as charge. I heard you were pretty Luna but I never imagine up to what extend.”

Luna: “You still haven’t answered me. What do you want with me?”

He gets closer.

Cedrick: "Nothing right now. You still don’t have your full powers princess. You’re just goanna have to wait till your birthday to find out. But looking at you now you would be a fine bride to me. Maybe ill spare your life and make you mine. I guess you’ll find out soon princess hahaha.”

Luna: “You don’t scare me demon.”

Cedrick: “Really? I have to suppress my powers so your two little toy boys wont come to the rescue. Allowed me to show you twenty five percent of my black aura and then tell me if you’re not scare of me.”

He led out his aura. I felt frozen scared. I couldn’t move or talk I was just sitting there. Tears started dripping from my eyes I had no control of my body. I’ve never felt such darkness it feels like everything around me was shaking. He walked close to me and lean down. He whispered in my ear.

Cedrick: “Are you scare now?”

I cant move at all. He grabbed my chin and kissed me. He got up and started walking away.

Cedrick: “I’m afraid we are goanna have to end this conversation here my princess. Your boy toy is on his way. It was a pleasure to meet you. Ill see you soon.”

He disappeared.

Kraven got there just in time to see him leave. He rushed to me.

Kraven: “Luna are you okay?”

I’m still frozen I cant move. My body is trembling nonstop. Kraven picked me up in his arms.

Kraven: “Luna did he hurt you?”

I cant talk. Finally a nodded my head saying no. Morgan got there with my mom, Braxton and Claire.

They were all asking me so many questions. But I was still in shocked. Morgan did a spell on my head

Morgan: “Release.”

I took a deep breath and started getting back to normal. I was able to tell them what happened.

Kraven: “I’m going to kill him.”

Kraven’s eyes turned red.

Queen: “Calm yourself Kraven. First things first. Braxton get the other commanders and check what happened to the guards. Morgan and I will go check the protection wards. If by any chance they are broken the kingdom is at risk of monsters attacking. Kraven stay with Luna and keep her safe. Clare find Tristan and tell him.”

They all left. Kraven grabbed me in his arms and took me to his room.

Luna: “Why here?”

Kraven: “You’re never here so this room doesn’t have your scent like yours. Just in case he comes back babe.”

Luna: “Thank you. You know he left because he sense you getting close.”

Kraven: “I was far away if not I would of been there sooner. I’m sorry.”

Luna: “You got there and that’s what’s important baby.”

He smiled and wrapped his arms around me and kissed my head.

My knees lost strength but he held me up.

Kraven: “Luna you need to lay down for a while. What your body just experienced can be overwhelming."

He picked me up like a doll and laid me down on the bed.

Luna: “Kraven?”

Kraven: “Yes Luna.”

He stares at me.

Luna: “Hold me.”

Kraven: “Of course.”

He got in bed with me and pulled me close to his chest with my head and body side facing him. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
