Bloodbath

Chapter 7

I got up and stretch out, looked to my side see Tristan there by my side. I realize that I over slept again. “s**t we slept inn Tristan” We got up fast and got dressed I left first to go to breakfast with the team, I ran as fast as I could when I got there, no one was there. I ran out to the hall and asked one of the guards , he told me they got called to the meeting room. Now I’m screwed I said in my head.

I ran to the meeting room and when I got in everyone was sitting there already. Sorry I’m late I overslept. Lord Barek asked me if I had seen Tristan because it looked like he left early that morning. I said no sir. Kraven smiled shaking his head side to side. I asked what did I miss.

My mom said well I just started telling everyone that all of you have a mission. North to the Everwoodstar of the east, the commanders have ask for your help because they are stuck doing another mission. This mission is a level two, normally the trainees never go on missions this early in their training but they are desperate and need you.

I asked what’s the mission. She said there has been some abductions of woman and young girls. It is believed they had been taken by goblins. They been taken at nighttime and never seen again. You need to gather your stuff and prepare, you all need to leave on Saturday.

Lord Barek: “MY queen is it smart to send Luna? She is after all the next ruler of the kingdom. And they are not ready my queen we will be risking her life”.

Luna: “Lord Barek with all your respect even if I am the next ruler, is my duty to defend and fight for this kingdom as a commander”.

Lord Barek: “Miss Luna all I’m saying is that your team is not ready so is not safe for you to go”.

Luna: “Is not fair that I get to be out because my team is not ready. How would that look for the other leaders Lord Barek. There kids are sacrifice but not the queens daughter, really that’s your way of saying they don’t matter the kingdom. I will go with my team and we will do the best that we can”.

I sat down. And everyone else was quiet.

At that moment Tristan opens the door and joins the meeting. “Hello father you where looking for me?”.

Lord Barek: “Yes Tristan I need your help getting things ready for the commanders first mission”.

As soon as Tristan heard that, he looked at me in the most worrying way. “Is Luna going two?”. He asked. “Yes apparently she is”, said Lord Barek. Tristan just stayed there in silence.

The queen: “Ok well everyone needs to get ready you are leaving on Saturday. Luna you train with me today and tomorrow”.

The queen got up and left. Everyone else went to train. “Lets go Tristan we have lots to do” said Lord Barek.

I went to train with my mom and she wanted to show me some magic spells and incantations that will help me with the mission.

After training I met with Tristan. He was worried about me and a little mad I decided to go, but he understood my reason. The next two days we spent it getting ready and training. Every night I was with Tristan enjoying every minute I could with him.

But the day came, today he meets the woman he is arrange to be married. They are having a party at his manor. And we are all invited. I hate that I have to be getting ready to leave tomorrow and cant spent all this time with him.

Is almost time for the party I’m getting ready. I hear a knock on the door, is Tristan. He comes in my room and says; “Are you okay? I know this is hard for you”. I answered “I’m okay for now I don’t know how it would be when I see you with her but I’m okay”. He hugged me and said “You are my wife and I don’t want anyone else but you my love always remember that, lets just get true this together today okay”. He kissed me and left.

So I met with Claire and the team to go to the party. I stand in front of the manor and took a big breath and went in. Everyone was dancing and talking. I danced with the boys, Claire and Selene. Then they announce Tristan and he came out, he met the girls family and then she came out and he walked to her and they started to dance. I was jealous and angry for a moment that she was the one standing there with him but then I thought to my self he loves me and no one else. I’m the one he married and the one he wants. So I controlled my self. Later they where saying hi to everyone and when he came to us he touched my chin and pushed it up and smiled at me like saying don’t worry you got this keep your chin up. I knew everything was okay. Later in the evening Selene asked me to go to the bathroom with her so I went. When I was waiting for her the girl came in the bathroom so happy talking to her friend that Tristan is gorgeous and she couldn’t wait to be married to him, his hands were soft and warm and that she is going to try to kiss him later in the evening.

I’m just standing there without moving looking at her, my blood started to boil and I felt like I wanted to skinned her and make her insides out. My eyes went from green to black my veins where changing to black you could see it getting to my neck, I don’t know where this darkness came from. I ran out of the bathroom pass the boys down the balcony stairs and into the garden I needed to get away from her because all I wanted was to kill her. I felt this hate, anger and darkness I couldn’t control. When they saw me running out Claire went to get Tristan. Kraven ran outside towards me. He grabbed me by the shoulders and said look in to my eyes Luna, please look at me, I did and he said you have to let it out Luna you cant let it consumed you or there’s no coming back. Luna let it out, I said I cant It will kill you Kraven, get away I don’t want to hurt you.

Kraven: “Luna you wont kill me please let that darkness out”.

Luna: “I cant”

Almost all my face was cover in black veins

Kraven: “You wont hurt me Luna please”.

He hugged me. Please Luna. He said in a low tone.

I couldn’t barely hear him now, I’m almost consumed by darkness. Then I heard Tristan’s voice far away screaming my name. I look at him he was at the balcony with Claire. Just seeing him there gave me strength and I let go of the darkness. A black wave came out of me kind of like a explosion. I fell on my knees and the eyes and black veins went to normal, but Kraven was there with me. He fell to the floor. All I see now is blood everywhere I started screaming his name and I tried to go to him but I was so week I passed out.
