Chapter 16

Today we woke up early and met with the others infront of the castle. It was a sunny day the perfect day for the river since we have some free time from training. Tristan is here but later he needs to leave. For now Ill enjoy this time with him. The water is clear and cool. We brought food so we could spent more time there. All the boys look fine with their rip body’s. Selene changed to her sirens tail once she got in the water, she looked beautiful. Me and Claire had bathing suits on.

We got in the water I had my legs around Tristan’s waist he was holding me close to him and kissing me. It felt good to not be hiding our love.

Luna: “I love this Tristan. I wish things to be like this everyday.”

Tristan: “Like what my love?.”

Luna: “Us out in the open not worried about anyone seen us. This is what I want always.”

Tristan: “Yes it does feels good. But for now is just how things have to be Luna.”

Luna: “I know but sometimes is hard Tristan. Sometimes I want to kiss you, hug you or just hold your hand like any normal couple does buy I cant and it makes me sad and mad sometimes. I have this amazing husband that I’m so proud of having but I have to pretend we are just friends.”

Tristan: “I feel the same Luna. This right now, this moment showing you how much I love you in front of everyone this is what I want for us. I want to be able to say this is my woman. The woman that holds my heart, the only one I want for ever. I know is hard my love but we are going thru the same thing and for now this is how it has to be.”

Luna: “Do you think you’ll be able to choose me when the time comes Tristan? Because I get scared that you wont be able to.”

Tristan stayed in silence.

Selene yells at everyone” Hey lets play” So we couple up and the girls got on the boys shoulders and we started pushing each other off. Selene and Malcom won the game there is no way Malcom was getting pushed around. We relax at the deck soaking in the sun.

Tristan: “Luna I have to go. Ill see you later tonight.”

He gave me a kiss and left. Me and the girls stayed on the deck.

Braxton: “Lets do this.”

Braxton and Kraven got in the water and swam across the river. There is this huge wall like rock three stories high. They climbed it all the way to the top. Malcom stayed on the ground. They got out this ball and they started playing volleyball from far away Braxton and Kraven against Malcom. They hit the ball so hard you could hear it a mile away.

Meanwhile me and the girls were talking.

Luna: “Hey Claire how’s everything with Braxton?”

Claire: “Well I think I’m falling in love with him. And it makes me scared because I know I’m not his mate. He says he loves me but I know that could change if he finds her. So I’m trying to not fall hard for him even though I think I am. I don’t know is complicated. What about you Luna?”

Luna: “Everything is good. But today I asked him about the decision and he just stayed in silence. That worry’s me a little. We will se what happens I guest. And what about you Selene.”

Selene: “I really like Malcom but I don’t know how he feels about me. Maybe I’m reading things wrong or maybe not. He protected me in the first mission and he is always there for me but he hasn’t done anything that tells me he is into me and is driving me crazy.”

Luna: “Maybe he is just scared to tell you. You are a siren and his half human half ogre Maybe he thinks is something not can never happened because of that. I think you should just tell him, what do you have to loose.”

Malcom: “YEA! I WIN, hahaha.”

Braxton and Kraven did a backflip into the water. They got out in slow motion and started laughing. All wet Braxton approaches Claire and says I’m taking this one for a while. They left into the woods. Selene decided to talk to Malcom and left walking down the river. I sat on the deck with my feet’s in the water. Kraven sat next to me.

Kraven: “Hi! How you doing?”

Luna: “Good you?”

Kraven: “I’m good.”

He paused for two seconds.

Kraven: “So you are Tristan’s wife?.”

Luna: “Yes I am.”

Kraven: “Was it a legal marriage or what.”

Luna: “A spiritual wedding. We cant get legally married until he decides what he is going to do. Either choose me, and his family looses the titles and positions, or choose them and loose me.”

Kraven: “If he chooses them what would you do? Cause that will mean he had to marry the other girl. Would you still stay with him even if that happens?”

Luna: “I don’t think it would be fair for her or me to do that. How can I love someone who will never really be mine.”

He looks at me and says;

Kraven: “I know exactly how you feel. No one chooses who they really fall for. OH MY GOD BRAXTON GET FARTHER AWAY PLEASE.”

Braxton: “SORRY WILL DO.”

Braxton and Claire seemed to be having s*x in the woods and Kraven could hear them from far away.

Kraven: “Sometimes this hearing thing is a cursed ha-ha.”

We started laughing.

Selene came running to me exited saying Malcom feels the same and that he kissed her. Kraven in that moment jumped in the water. A few minutes later Tristan came back and called Kraven over. They started talking low, I couldn’t hear what they were saying. After that Tristan came to my side and dint say anything to me. That only made me wonder.

We came to the river for the next two days and Kraven and Tristan met us there at mid day. No one new where there were. And Tristan dint tell me. The next morning I herd Kraven leaving his room at dawn so I decided to fallow him. He went to the courtyard and Tristan was there waiting for him. I climb on a halls roof and watched them. Tristan was training Kraven how to sword fight. It makes sense Tristan is the best sword fighter in the kingdom. At one point Tristan reached to drink water and I slipped a little on the roof and Kraven turned to me and put his finger on his lip like telling me to be quiet and then he smile and continued his training. I left and waited for Kraven to come back. When he did I knock on his door. He opened the door without a shirt on again.

Luna: “Do you always answer your door like that?”

Kraven: “Only when is you hahaha.”

Luna: “What if one day turns out is not me and is the queen.”

Kraven: “Well she would have a joyful time looking at this.”

He smiled.

Kraven: “But I know is always you because of your heart beat so its likely impossible for that to happened. Anyways why the visit? If is to know why me and Tristan are training that’s classify. You’re goanna have to ask him or your mom about it.”

He leans on the door and stares at me straight into my eyes and smiles.

Luna: “And how do you know is my heartbeat at the door?”

Kraven: “Cause your heart raises when you knock-on my door. I wonder why sometimes.”

He smiled.

Luna: “I don’t know what you are talking about Kraven.”

Kraven: “Just keep telling yourself that Luna.”

Luna: “Aghh you’re an ass. Ill ask Tristan about it then.”

I Left as fast as I could. In my mind thinking that what he said is true. He always does makes me nervous. He is in fact the second most gorgeous man I have ever seen. Of course with Tristan being the first.
