Chapter 10 Thursday, just before dinner time, I got a call from Gail. “Are you doing anything this evening?” she asked. “Nope. This is my one free night this week,” was my reply. “Meet me at Winston’s, then. Would nine be okay for you?” I had to smile. Winston’s was a local watering hole where Gail and I met from time to time. “Sure.
