“Feel any better?” Gail asked as I put my glass down on the table. I had taken a long gulp of my drink when the waitress placed it in front of me. “Yes,” I said. “I overreacted. I’ll wait a few days until I can get this behind me. Then I’ll call Jim and tell him I want out of the contract.” Earl walked into the room and up to our small table.
