Maddie's POV
I woke up to machines beeping and taking in my surroundings. I see that I am still in the hospital. I must've fallen asleep. My mind goes to Mariko and Bella. I hope that she is okay and doesn't think that I have stayed away. The door opened, and Doctor Rodriguez walked inside with a smile.
"How are you feeling?" She asked as she checked me and the monitors.
"I feel better, thanks," I said as I sat up straight. She was removing all the wires off from me.
"You need to continue to be stress-free as much as possible. There is always some sort of risk when it comes to carrying twins, but do not panic. You just have to take it easy." she gave me a reassuring smile.
