Maddie's POV
I was done with exams today and the feeling of relief washed over me. I smiled at the thought of just relaxing and spending time with Bella, also getting back to work. The other stressful part was the exam results that I would be waiting for. I just tried not to think about it. Jake had asked me to pay a visit to his family's company, but I had declined because I wanted Mariko by my side.
When I got home, Bella was asleep and Rosie was sitting in the lounge, watching TV, "How was your final exam?" she asked.
"It was a breeze, this whole exam was so easy. If it wasn't for Mariko, who had helped me with my studies last week, then I might not have done so well.
"Mariko is always so sweet, and he just wants the best for everyone. I am glad that, with his help, it paid off,"
